Stop & Shop — Local services in Litchfield

I went here and love the selection. I travel to many stop and shops. This one however I was not to found of the staff I encountered. The worst yet. I had trouble with the weight on the self checkout it wasn't reading what I scanned and the women comes over to me asking what am I trying to steal. I looked at her in disgust. Why would you say that? I then tried to pull some bags off because it was getting full and she "tries" to help by pulling them off and literally dropping them on the floor next to my cart. I was very upset. Before I left, I figure I check my lottery tickets. I won and decided to cash it in, so I'm standing at the desk waiting for the women to finish writing and she looks up very rudely says you need help or something I said yes and handed her the ticket and she just looks at me with the tickets in her hand as if I wasn't supposed to cash them. I said I scanned it said I won and she goes okay and then scans them on her end. She said what tickets you want. I just asked for the cash back with her attitude I did not even want to buy anything. Before she gives me the money rudely stated I can't give you anything back until I see ID. Really!? Why do the whole process to pull the cash out the register and them ask for ID what happens if I forgot it or didn't have it on me God forbid was she going...

Went to deli, there was a total of 9 FEET-the deli counter, various slicers & a plexiglass divider- between the deli employee & me. She could not hear me, in an effort to accommodate her, I SLIGHTLY lowered my mask & she completely overreacted & yelled "PUT THE MASK UP!" She then took her sweet time with my order, it was actually comical..slice, slooowly place slice down, repeat....thank you for the entertainment, lol My point? This was never about a mask. This is another customer service professional that has taken it upon themselves to " police" other customers. I was informed "you could be banned from the store" OH THE HORROR!!!🤣 Because grocery stores are so few & far between 😅😂🤣 That was so...

I started shopping there about 2 months ago and after today I will never go back to that store. It was the worse experience I had there. I just started shopping and wanted to get some imported cheese and the lady ignored me and helped the other lady that came up after me and I just stood there in shock and never got asked if I needed help even after she was done with the other lady and yes I needed help. The employee looked at me and gave me a dirty look and wouldn't help me.. Also when I went to get sushi the man was nasty when I asked him a question about if they ever do any specials.. If this is how they are going to treat people I will not do business with this...
