Westside Cinema — Local services in Litchfield

I've been going here since I was a teen and I'm now 51 so it's about time they update the place a bit. The restroom is so small you can't even stand inside to wait and then you have to scramble around others to wash your hands and get out again. Chairs are worn out and uncomfortable. I'm glad we have a small theater still, but they've raised prices, so they should raise quality too. Owner was really unfriendly the couple of times we've met him. Screens and theaters are on the small side, but that is due largely to the expansion from 2 screens to 4 screens at the location. The sound systems in each theatre are more than adequate. No stadium seating, but the theatre predates most in the area. It has a very nostalgic decor. This theatre shows mostly 2D offerings, but does have 3D showings. No IMAX, of course. The west side cinema staff are the greatest. Very friendly and honest! I personally dropped almost $500 dollars cash outside in the parking lot and I called them the next day and they actually had the cash put away waiting for someone to claim it and when I did, it was all there. I could not be more thankful and I am very appreciative of their honesty. I have been going to this movie theater ever since I could remember and will continue going there. Thank you again west...
