Tiger's Eye — Local services in Lititz

Let me state that I have rarely, if ever, felt the need to write a negative review for a business, but I was so taken aback by the customer service here that I wanted to write this. I had a similar experience at The Tiger’s Eye as previous customers have stated. I went into the store today with my dear in-laws who are visiting from the south, and we felt unwelcome as soon as we walked in. Though I loved their clothes and jewelry and could afford anything in there, I felt unwanted and unappreciated as a customer. We were watched and followed the whole time we were in the store, left much sooner than anticipated, and did NOT buy anything because of the abrasive and cold reception. I’m not sure if we were judged by our appearance, as another customer reviewed, or by something else, but there is no reason to be treated this way as interested and wholesome customers. Good business ethics accepts anyone, regardless of looks, race, class, or perceived worth, and I am disappointed that a shop that sells such stunning merchandise would treat customers in this unappreciative, distrustful, and...

My sister and i were in Lititz for the day to check out the shops on Main St. Went into a lot of stores and were greeted by very friendly people... until we walked into Tiger's Eye. Clearly we didnt fit in at the store and we where made aware of it as soon as we walked in. A lady came charging over and asked what we were looking for - it was not in a friendly how can i help you way but more like what are you doing in this store! We also notice 2 other ladies behind the counter rolling their eyes at us and making faces about us being in the store. No we were not dressed very nicely as we had a long car ride so we were more casual. Also i am a big woman and i know the clothing wouldnt fit me but i like jewerly and accessories. I was treated like a nonentity. Invisible. When I asked for assistance I was ignored. I have the impression that it is an are you in or not kind of store. Wouldn’t recommend it. When I discovered once I arrived home that four pairs of pants that I wanted had not been added in I called in and told the salesperson that I’d had a bad experience, she started crying.
