A's barbershop — Local services in Little Rock

I’ve been getting my haircut here for a while and I always come out with a fresh haircut! I would get compliments as soon as I leave the barbershop. Axel always does an amazing job! He always asks how you want the haircut and even throughout the process he makes sure if that’s the length you want or style you’re aiming for. Even after the haircut he asks if you are satisfied or if any adjustments need to be made (which I hardly ever do since he always gets it down right!). The other staff are very professional and skilled and have won many haircut competition tournaments, which speaks volume. It’s hard to find a good barber nowadays but these guys never disappoint! Not sure what the other negative comments are about, but I have never had a bad experience at this barbershop, the atmosphere is always great and the staff is always friendly and that’s coming from a customer thats been coming here for years! But one thing for sure is that everyone in town knows that Agustin is one of coldest in the game and so is Jay and Axel (the trophies in the shop speak for themselves). Augustine LACKS professionalism, tact, skill (yes he destroyed my haircut), he has no respect for your time and schedule, I had to leave because an altercation broke out where I felt like me and my child's safety was at risk.

Augustine cancels appointments weekly regardless of what time/scheduling constraints he causes you to encounter.

He spends more time planning sudden getaways to Puerto Rico than he does cutting hair or caring about what his clients need.

Augustine makes promises that he doesnt even attempt to keep and will certainly inconvenience you!

Do whats safe for your kids or even your clientel and steer clear of this poorly run establishment that always has new barbers because none of the barbers even care to deal with him in the future so they quit and go to better run barbershops.

I’ve trusted Agustin with my hair for a while now. Every time I walk out of the shop I feel like a new man. The attention to detail is unmatched. Fades? Razor-sharp. Beard trims? Clean, precise, and crisp.

I still remember the first time I sat in his chair. He said “If nobody compliments your cut today, it’s free.”

It NEVER fails. I still haven’t gotten a free cut; I probably never will.

Honestly, he’s outlasted most of my ex-girlfriends; I’m way more loyal to his chair than I ever was to some of them.
