I would give zero stars if that was an option! I was so excited when I found out zlR was getting a whatsburger! Traveling to Dallas to visit family, Whataburger was always a traditional stop we always made. However, the Whataburger on chenal has been nothing but sheer disappointment every single time we go there. I kept hoping that it was just because it was brand new and employees just had to be newly trained. So…we kept going back. However, this last time was the end. Our food was cold, made wrong, coke machines all served flat sodas, service was horrible…no eye contact whatsoever which I find extremely rude…call me old fashioned. I had to wait 45 minutes for them to remake a PLAIN patty melt…then they had the nerve to ask to see my receipt even though I was holding the wrongly made sandwich in my hand. I was there so long, the cashier asked me if I would like to place an order! I finally asked to see the manager on duty and he was no help at all! No one seemed to want to fix the problem. He did finally remake my sandwich and then asked if I would like some fries with that for free. I told him I already had fries in the car. I just wanted to get out of there bc I was now running late in attending a flag football game for my grandson. The manager’s response: I’m sure they are cold by now. (Do ya think???) While waiting…and waiting…. I was “privileged” to over hear a conversation between the 2 cashiers about what they were going to do after they got off of work at 5:00. There were 3 other people behind me waiting to get their order remade as theirs was made wrong as well. Their sandwich was fixed way before mine even though I was there first. When I said several times their coke machine was flat, the only response I received from several employees, including the manager, was that the sodas shouldn’t be flat. I could not get anyone to check the machine. I repeatedly had to ask if the plain patty melt had been remade, and was told every time they were remaking it now…even though I could clearly see it was not being remade. I was there a whole hour. My son finally received his PLAIN patty melt and we left with my still flat coke. Post note: My son and his friend returned to Whataburger (on Chenal) 2 nights ago. He ordered a PLAIN patty melt. He did not check it before he got home. Guess what? Once again, it had the sauce on it so he could not eat it. HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A PLAIN PATTY MELT???? I hope the franchise reads this review because some serious retraining needs to take place! I will not be going...
Read moreTried the dining one night somewhere around 9, as soon as we walked in and we tried to order the lady at the desk, I believe was the floor manager or something said do you guys know how to use the kiosk in a funny way as if saying we're not going to take your order you got to do it through the kiosk which I knows nowadays most fast-food places have them. Which wasn't a big problem but she could have said it I was more confused as to when the customers that got there after me she did take their order.... So somehow their order got done faster than mine. When I was done at the kiosk she walked off so I had to get her attention for her to give me my drinking cups even though she gave the other people their cups right away. And gave a funny look because I had to get her attention to get the cups. As we're waiting about 20 minutes go by and we're wondering where our food is as we could see the majority and I want to say 8/10 being loud and obnoxious in the lobby not in the back of the cooking area in the actual lobby and I'm wondering where my food at is that at this point because the person that came after me already got their food. I give it another five minutes and still no food we're almost at a half an hour here were a fast food restaurant and I haven't gotten my orders which word combos they weren't anything fancy or anything in particular. My buddy walks up to the desk and gives her the ticket and says hey we've been waiting for the people that have came after us have already got their food so she's asking us what we got? So she starts looking for the food at this point we're looking around like we've been waiting here for nothing you haven't commenced prepared our food?... At this point I'm just frustrated and what's crazy about it is she goes to the back and within 2 minutes brings our food out. Keep in mind there were only two other people besides us. Finally she comes back with her food where I am confused because if it was just on the back counter why was it just sitting there instead of being delivered to our table or calling us so I can go to the counter and receive it??? 🤷🏻♂️ The food was good the service was horrible.. Read moreThere wasn't a line this morning so I decided to stop by for some food. I had a few questions at the drive-thru speaker. No problem, the person taking my order was helpful and answered my questions. I placed my order and waited for the 3 cars ahead of me to pay and receive their orders. I ordered a triple meat cheeseburger meal and biscuit & gravey meal. My drinks were a large sprite and orange juice. I received my food after waiting just about 3 minutes at the window. And I started to drive off and make it down the street to discover I didn't have any fries or hashbrowns. I turned around and headed back. I tried to get there attention at the speaker but I guess they didn't want me interrupt their conversation. So I drove to the window and told them what my problem was. So I could hear one of the ladies inside stating that you all need to make sure you check the orders before handing them to the customer. Took my bag and drove off for the second time. I checked my second bag to make sure I had all items this time. And my hashbrowns were indeed hot and fresh. Fast forward to when made it home. Upon arrival I tasted my fries... OMG my first thought was did they cook these last night? They were not fresh at all. And my sprite was only carbonated water. People just do your job.
