Poor customer experience. Our family didn’t know the mask mandate restarted. The cashier berated my family for not knowing the mask mandate was reinstated because “it was all over the news.” Meanwhile, there were other customers shopping in the store who didn’t have masks. The cashier continued to insist on giving us a mask even though other customers weren’t wearing masks. She said she will allow an exception for us to shop in the store today without wearing a mask. I asked the cashier if she was asking everyone to wear a mask because most customers in the store weren’t wearing a mask, or if she was asking only certain people. She stammered she couldn’t get to all of the customers to offer masks, and then she turned around and ignored me. I felt embarrassed and upset that she only lectured my family about the mask mandate and acted like she was being generous for “allowing” my family to shop without a mask when clearly there were other families shopping in the store without masks. I certainly didn’t feel welcomed in that store. I do not recommend this store if you expect a welcoming...

We walk by here and my kids always insist on stopping in. Sure enough the kid in everyone comes out when you step foot into this place. Everyone opens up, folks smile at each other, there is conversation as we all dabble in the puzzles and quirky toys. The staff is always so friendly and informative. I've bought some great souvenirs for friends and toys for kids. Stop in..even if you don't buy anything...leave that boring sidewalk where no one acknowledges each other and meet the warm hearts of your community in...

I go weekly to this place for ukulele lessons. Stan, my instructor is fabulous. I’ve owned my ukulele for probably 25 years and have attempted three different times to learn how to play it. Each time I was managing a difficult instructor who was absolutely lousy at teaching. Stan has got me really progressing amazingly. He’s very encouraging, very affordable, and just an all-around great guy. Plus the store he works out of is darling. I highly suggest you stop in and...
