Panera Bread — Restaurant in Livingston Township

Do yourself a favor, go to 5 guys next door. We were in town for a Distric Varsity Volleyball game. I work in food service so I completely understand the feeling of seeing 12 families walk through the door at the same time. Luckily for them, there wasnt many people in there as we were after the lunch rush and before dinner. The girls taking our orders were fantastic with big smiles and friendly faces. After that, it completely went down hill. We were the last family to order so as I was watching Lyric deliver everyones food with a scowl on her face completely acting like we were inconveniencing her by showing up today and spending over $700 collectively within a half an hour, it started to leave a bad taste in my mouth. As she dropped our food off, the caesar salad that should have been plain had chicken on it. The order of chicken tortellini was dropped off with cold chicken that looked and tasted like it came out of a can. I brought it up to the window, and as I did this, I kindly asked Lyric if the next time she came by, if she could possibly muster up a smile for the guests that'd be great. One of the items that we ordered didnt even show up for 15 minutes after everyone elses food. Upon leaving I spot 2, not 1, but 2 managers walk out of the back. Ummmm if I had a team show up and spend that much money at my establishment, you better believe my butt would be in the dining room thanking them for choosing us and asking if everything was okay. If my cooks heard a guest come and physically ask an employee to quit glaring at her group, they would have immediately found a manager to fill them in. Lyric, I'm sorry if you had a bad day, but you made ours absolutely horrible and do not deserve to work in the front of the house if you cant put a smile...

Would give zero stars if possible!!!! Do not order the new Italian sub!! Absolutely disgusting!!!! I haven't been to Panera in years and after this food quality experience probably never going back!!! Broccoli Soup was warm/cold, almost looked like there was slimy clear spit was mixed in with the soup. each time I dipped my bread in this slime came out attached and was literally 4 inches long drooping off the bread with it and no it's not cheese unless you have clear see through cheese!!!!!! Needless to say I completely threw that out!!!!! Second off the sandwich lettuce was brown and rotten not to mention the lettuce appeared to be cooked into the cheese!!!!! Let's talk about prices!!! $16 for a you pick two that was completely thrown in the trash!!!! $8 bowls of soup???!!!! Soup is the least expensive item you can make period so everyone knows besides pizza!!!! Third issue was my order was given to the wrong person so I was told they were remaking my food is why it took so long!!! So you made me wait for warm/cold soup with spit slime and a nasty Italian sub!!!! The meat was gross looked deli meat out of an Oscar Meyer pack and slapped it on a sandwich with no love!!!! Not to mention there was no Italian dressing on the sandwich and one pepperoncini melted in the cheese!!!!! The managers of this place need to be fired!!!! Quality control is extremely important I know I spent 10 years in the service industry for major companies!!!! This experience was a disgrace to Panera chains nation wide and I suggest corporate come down hard on this nasty location!!!! Out $16 on nasty food so you don't have to be!!!! Please drive on do not eat here unless you like slimy broccoli cheese soup and disgusting...

We hadn’t been to this Panera in about 5 months because one of our last visits the order was wrong. We tried again today & we HIGHLY doubt we will ever be back! We went inside to order because we were going to try something new & wanted a good look at the menu. The 2 order taker were helpful & we had high hope for getting a nice meal to go. Then we waited…..5+ minutes went by….Another customer came in & ordered…..we all waited & waited….at least 15 minutes….the the person that ordered after us was called his order was ready!…We waited a few more minutes & when an order taker was free we asked where’s our order? The guy after us just walked out with his. She went to the back to check & said he got mixed up & it would be ready shortly….& we waited….5 minutes later she goes to the back check again & comes out with a bag & says sorry about that! I look inside & see it’s not our order! I tell her…she checks the slip…goes to the back…comes back & says your salad should be ready soon he got mixed up again! She asks would you like a cookie for your trouble while you wait? I said YES. She goes to the counter & starts taking more orders! THEN the person who took the order before us…who had ordered after us comes back in the store! I said let me guess your order is wrong? She says Yes is yours messed up to? She goes to the pick up counter & starts to tell someone her order is wrong. Then the guy so lost in the back calls out that our salad is ready.. We took our salad & left. Got home & after all that had the worst dinner we’ve had in...
