B.C. Pizza — Restaurant in Gaylord

When you step into BC Pizza in Gaylord, MI, you’re immediately struck by the unique atmosphere. The first thing you’ll notice is the soundtrack—a relentless stream of Christian rock that permeates the air. Adding to the ambiance, Fox News blares from the television, accompanied by not one, but two signs sternly warning patrons not to change the channel. If fostering an inclusive environment free from political overtones was the goal, BC Pizza has missed the mark quite spectacularly.

Moving on to the food, the experience doesn’t improve much. The pizza sauce is excessively sweet, to the point where you might imagine tasting actual sugar crystals with each bite. The crust, while not the worst I’ve encountered, leaves much to be desired with its doughy texture. On a positive note, the salad bar stands out as a highlight. It’s fresh and offers a decent variety of options, providing a glimmer of hope amidst an otherwise underwhelming culinary experience.

Overall, BC Pizza in Gaylord leaves much to be desired. While the salad bar shows some promise, the pizza itself and the heavily politicized atmosphere detract significantly from the experience. Two out...

I realize that calling at 11:30 pm is a bit late, however it is Friday and there are tourists like crazy and their website says they close at midnight anyways. The gentleman on the phone said “unfortunately we close at 10” well genuinely you wouldn’t still be there almost two hours later I worked in a kichen and it doesn’t take quite that long. Again…I get it..it is late they may have been backed up. But I just really wanted BC and just got off the road from a very long stressful trip. So I’m starving and I’m about to get back in my vehicle to go get sub par food. :( you upset me BC I don’t want to hate you. But come oooooon. Iv ordered from them at 11:50 and they have been no problem. Yall lost out on a GIANT tip I just had won a suit and I have for a few thousand dollars I had planned on giving the driver a couple hundred bucks.. non of this matters because I don’t matter, BC. Very disappointing experience today 1-2-25 at BC pizza in Gaylord. I arrived at 11:45 paid $15 for the pizza buffet and drink. Got my drink and a salad since there was only 2 old half pizzas left on the buffet and some bread sticks. One fresh pepperoni pizza came out so I grab a slice. People were coming up to the buffet looking for pizza and no one brought any more pizza out after 15 minutes. I asked the lady behind the counter if they could put more pizza on the buffet and she said yes. She asked me what type of pizza did I like told her the 2 choices of pizza I wanted she said ok we will get it going. After 30 of still no pizza! A cook came around and asked me how I was doing. I said not good! I wanted to have the pizza buffet and there's no pizza! I said I've been here since 11:45 now 12:30 Finally the cook brought out a fresh pizza at 12:45 I said thats not even the pizza I ordered! I said this is ridiculous! I can't wait any longer!
