Verizon — Local services in Lodi

Did not have a great experience here. Came in with the intentions of switching from AT&T to Verizon due to poor connection within the area. Placed an order for 3 phones on Oct 9th and was told that we didn’t have to pay anything until the phones arrived, thought that was weird and confirmed multiple times on that because I’ve never heard of any carrier placing an order & requesting payment later. I got an email with confirmation & an order number so thought it was legit. Was told phones were on back order so it wouldn’t arrive until Oct 25th. Understandable, was told that I would get a call once phones came in. Okay cool.

Oct 15th I get an email saying only part of my order shipped. Thinking okay give it a day or two & will get a call from the store & maybe rest of order will ship. NOPE! Waited 4 days until I called Verizon customer service & asked if there was an update on the order they said it was delivered days ago. Went to the store they tell me “Oh, we only got 2 of the phones because 1 got lost in transit & I can’t give them to you until the 3rd one gets delivered but I filed a claim & once that third one comes in we can get the account up & running.” once again, weird but whatever. Waited another almost 2 weeks, never heard anything. Called Verizon CS, they said they can’t see the claim for the order & to go back to the store. Went to the store & was now told “Oh we shipped the phones back you need to go to a corporate store” Will NOT be returning here.

I broke my Verizon phone and asked to have my backup phone connected. My screens digitizer was damaged and the screen was fading on and off. This Main St. store is closer to my home and I've used to the store on Essex St many times in the past but I stopped in on Main St to check it out. I walked in, explained my situation and showed the gentleman the screen. I was told he couldn't help me because the screen was damaged. There was no hope to transfer anything. I drive to Essex St and the Verizon associate connected my phone in a couple of minutes. I waited a few minutes more just to make sure all was good and Stacy (love her) approached me to make sure all was well and she confirmed my connection before I left the store. This Main St store has good reviews and maybe the person was new? I'm just saying, if you need a second opinion with something, maybe give Essex St a chance. I never had a bad experience with Essex St. Just me two cents. ...

I actually can’t say enough wonderful stuff about Bryan who helped us out today! Came in to pick something up and he ended up helping us restructure our home internet to fix an issue we were having. He was so nice, helpful, and down to earth that I ended up upgrading my phone since I felt confident he wasn’t going to try talking us into stuff we didn’t need. I had to go to another Verizon location recently and it was night and day different. At the other location I wait for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me.
