I am so disappointed on how we were treated tonight. I have never written a negative review on any establishment, but after seeing the disappointment on my wife's face, i can't help it. My wife and I frequent cold stone on a monthly basis for date night. We walked into cold stone before 10pm and were the 7th and 8th person's in line. After waiting a few minutes and reviewing the menu, a young man came and told us "we are closed and we are not serving anyone after these people", he stuck his arm up and out between us and the 6 other people in line. We were clearly there before 10pm and we felt like one of three things happened. 1.) he's lazy and didn't want to serve anyone else that night. 2.) he wanted to help the attractive girls in front of us and not be bothered with us "older" generation. 3.) He was practicing his discrimination. I have worked retail and been in customer service my entire career and know how to treat people and certainly know how to run a business. His tone was inappropriate and his body language was inexcusable. I feel bad for the way he treated my wife, i'm not nearly as concerned about me, but don't mess with my wife or kids. The sad part is, we passed 3 different ice cream establishments to go to cold stone, I will not make that mistake again. Cold Stone use to have a fun atmosphere, the last couple of times have been disappointing. Maybe it's just COVID...

Probably the middle, which I know you're thinking is an odd place to begin, but it is probably the perfect place to set the scene.
For a brief moment my ice cream hung in the air. TIme stopped as my heart matched tempo with the suspense that only ice cream flying through the air can provide. That's correct - in a stunning feat of acrobatic witchery, Kylie expertly flung my lump of mixed ingredients high into the air, only to safely catch it in a waiting cup.
Of course, from someone so skilled in such escapades, you'd expect a wonderful greeting as you enter, and a great farewell as you leave- which of course both of we received on our visit today. But again, the middle is what mattered.
Suggestions of high-tier mix-ins with flavor matching potential to change your ice cream experience from banal to mind-blowing, conversation to entertain even the most wandering of minds, and even reccomendations for your next visit that leave you somehow wanting more even after you've finished your oversized and overstuffed cup of deliciousness - the experience at this coldstone is life changing.
Go see Kylie and the team here in Logan, especially if you are looking for something better...
Read moreI went there around 9:45 on July 19th to see one person truly working while his three coworkers stood around talking with friends or doing absolutely nothing to help him. While he was working his butt off running back and forth checking people out AND making the ice cream, one coworker helped her friends who were in the back of the line while she visited with them. The other two workers sat around talking to each other, not one of them bothered to help him. Despite his lazy coworkers, he stayed positive and upbeat and was very kind to all the customers! I wasn’t able to catch his name, but I hope the owner/manager has cameras so they can look back to see him working while nobody helped him, that kid deserves a raise!! Especially when he’s doing the work of four people!! The world needs more hard working people like him!! Only giving this review a two star because of his lazy coworkers. The ice cream and that one worker who was actually working deserves...
