Del Taco — Restaurant in Logan

The food at Del Taco is not the best I have ever had- I prefer the food from one of their more well-known competitors more- but it was fresh and I am extremely impressed with the dollar menu here. The value for what you get is extremely good, enough so that I have difficulty deciding which I want to visit (Del Taco or the competitor)!

My only complaint is probably a good thing for Del Taco: the restaurant is far too busy! It is impossible to find a table, so you might often find people standing and eating, or just ordering and leaving. The line in the drive-thru also seems to be very long no matter what time of day you visit. This is on popular place! Maybe this is only because the restaurant is new, but I am not sure if this problem will go away since it is one of the only places in Northern Logan with a playplace for kids, and arguably the most affordable of such places anyway.

The playplace is a major plus for families with younger kids, but there are only three tables within the playplace area, so that is a bit difficult if you want to be in their while they are playing. I do like how there is a large glass window however, so that you can still see your kids if you have a table in front of the play area. This may even be nice because it blocks out the noise (the playplace can be extremely loud and noisy).

Husband ordered via door dash(whole other set problems there). When we received the order, we only received my food. He order nachos and they were not in there. The soda tastes like they haven't cleaned out their lines in a while. my chicken was passable. The fries, were eh. They put everything in one box so the fries were soggy from the condensation left by the steam. As I was eating my fries I looked into the ranch cup and saw that were was a hair in it. I was paying attention because I was working. I was a little put off, but through the cup away. I tried to eat the fries again and there was either a pepper or tomato on one of the fries. What if I was allergic to that. Cross contamination is a no go for me. I know a food handlers permit is required for food joints in Utah, but it seems like some of the rules are not being followed. I hate giving bad reviews, but my lunch experience was ruined...

Went through the drive-through on the night of August 7 in the year of 2020. Ordering two chicken soft tacos, I fully expected this visit to be just like any other. The chicken soft taco is a personal favorite of mine. Upon receiving my meal, I eagerly opened the bag to find my food awaiting consumption. Behold, I say unto you, these were the most glorious chicken soft tacos to ever grace my taste buds. The wrapping of the tacos, perfection. The distribution of each ingredient, perfection. The temperature, glorious perfection. Whomever had prepared my tacos is an artisan of their craft, a skilled master of their trade and deserves recognition. Though their identity is a mystery to me, I sing praise to them. The depths of my gratitude shall never be known for they have awakened my taste buds...
