I’ve been going to this place for about 5 years. I drive 20 min from my house just to come here. It use to be great. I loved the last owner who sold in December 21’/January 22’. I continued to go regardless of the ownership change. Unfortunately none of the girls that use to work there still do. They all either left or were fired according to the new owner Kayla who shared this information. Under the previous owner you would receive decent massages with a pedicure. Now they limit the massage to 5 minutes and use a timer. It feels very rushed and quite honestly rude especially when you are paying $60 for a pedicure. Additionally, every December I buy gift cards for the women in my life for Christmas. My mother in-law went in March to redeem her gift card using one of the two pedicures and the new owner honored it and said nothing about her new policy. She went back a second time to use her second pedicure on the gift card and Kayla told her she couldn’t use it. Kayla told her that the new policy is 6 months from purchase instead of what the gift card actually shows which is ONE year from purchase. It was purchased on 12/2/2021. My mother in law tried to redeem it for the second time on 6/4/2022. Nearly 6 months after purchase (according to her new policy) and still under the 12 months that is dated on the actual gift card purchased. Kayla rudely shoved a laminated paper in front of my mother in-law and told her it was her new policy and she couldn’t do anything about all the gift cards that the previous owner sold making my mother in-law feel bad. Mind you this gift card was already purchased back in December for over $100 and the company pockets that money until services are redeemed. My mother in-law has been coming here for 3 years, me for 5 years and we have sent many people here. Needless to say we won’t be going back and definitely won’t be referring business. It’s so disappointing that not only would she not honor a gift card that technically hadn’t expired yet but one that by her new policy had only expired by a few days. I can’t in good faith recommend this...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at was 110% unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, the staff was unwelcoming and acted like I was an inconvenience. I was rushed through the service, and the technician was not only new but clearly didn't care about quality or customer satisfaction. He did not speak any english (which is fine) but proceeded to do everything i did not want! The pedicures include legit dipping your feet in water and filing them..... kinda odd never been to a place like that. Pedicure was basic water nothing addeo and filing. And anything else The final result was sloppy - uneven nails, messy polish, and zero attention to detail. I politely mentioned my concerns, but I was met with attitude and disrespect. Instead of offering to fix the problem, they got defensive and dismissive. For 38$ plus 15$ for gel, I expected at least basic courtesy and professionalism - not rushed, careless work and rude behavior. I would never return and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values their time, money, or self-respect. Work is SO sloppy had to call the cops on the company to have come make the issue didnt get worse than it was Left me with dusty crusty nails. No lotion, no oil nothing! And expected me to pay full price absolutely not. Wish i Could give zero starts would never be back
I felt the need to update this, after frequenting this salon for quite some time now. The owner Kayla has created such an environment. It feels like a DAY SPA. It’s so beautiful and relaxing here. The attention to detail with the immaculate ambiance, the small thoughtful offerings and hospitality in this salon is world class. Kayla not only cares so much about her clients, (and TRULY travels the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction), but she strives to cultivate a family environment between her and her talented staff. It’s such an experience being here, and a highlight of my month. You really can feel the care and concern and pride she places into the business. I always love watching her interact with people, and tinkering about the salon organizing colors, tidying up, etc.
Speaking of her talented team, Ari is the best technician I’ve ever ever had. In the 15 or so years that I’ve been receiving these services, I’ve never experienced a better manicure and pedicure. Imagine you’re a celebrity getting a mani/pedi for the Oscars. That’s how meticulous her attention to detail is. She’s a lovely person and makes the experience so enjoyable.
Lastly, I cannot recommend the Japanese gel enough. It’s such high quality, and with the beautiful manicures and pedicures I get, it lasts longer than any gel I’ve ever had. (Red nails photo)
Should you opt not to do gel, try the CND Vinylux Long Lasting Polish. (Pink nails photo). It’s the best non-gel polish I’ve ever worn, and I get such a long wear out of it before it shows any signs of distress.
