After finishing dinner, I said, "honey, grab the sleeping bags and let's crash here till breakfast." This was my first visit and I'm looking forward to coming again. The food was that good! What really makes this place stand out is the quality of meat. The beef and lamb was absolutely delicious, tender, no fat, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Each bite was better than the last! The food is lightly seasoned which says something. It says that the quality of food is so high that it does not need to be smothered and disguised with sweet sauces or extra spicy pepper. You can taste each ingredient.
The owner was working alone and was hustling to not only serve, but answer phones and cook. Despite the workload, he was fast and friendly. Nothing changed when his help arrived. He cares about your experience and makes frequent visits so you can say, "the food is amazing!"
The atmosphere is very casual. It's a hole in the wall with modest tables and chairs. Simply it's a place to chill and enjoy the company you're with.
The prices are reasonable and based on the quality of food, I would consider paying more. Some reviews seem to think the price is too high. But, the servings are huge. One meal can be easily split between two. And the quality and freshness of the ingredients really should dictate higher prices. But, it's a modest establishment and you're not paying for frills, just food, quality food.
It's amazing that we have this option in Lone Tree, not Denver or Aurora. This is a truly authentic taste from Northern China. Support this place...

The owner Owen is of Shandong origin and has worked at many Sichuan restaurants in his career. He's came up with some creative dishes that was worth the taste! We ordered a bunch of different dishes to try - the small spicy hot pot, great taste and you can add as much variation in there as you'd like... Chinese Hamburger is pork based and it was super well seasoned. Tasted really great!
We also tried Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup - normally I'm not a lamb/goat person but this soup was delicious and is tolerable for someone who doesn't eat lamb/gamey food. Also the same goes for Braised Mutton Leg, great flavor, the Chinese herbs really soaked into the leg and also does not taste super gamey at all.
My favorite dish is the Mapo Eggplant, never had this anywhere else and this is an Owen original. I will be back for this dish for sure, it was super delicious and unlike any eggplant dish I've had anywhere else. He battered and fried the eggplant first before cooking in the sauce. The wonton soup was delicious as well but in Chinese they had it listed as red oil wonton... which usually is not in a soup form in my experience, so wanted to call that out that this is basically a spicy wonton soup.
Come give them a try, they've only been opened for about 3 months and I hope they stay in business for a long time, really...
Read moreInconvenient location in a tiny lifeless strip mall. Drab interior with cheap decorations. Unfriendly staff and angry owner who looks like he hates his life. Claims that his little dumpster hole in the wall is a VIP members only restaurant, despite no signs stating as such and his daughter seating us “first timers” right away. Extremely rude service, owner became belligerent when we inquired if they had any dishes with traces of peanuts (my daughter is allergic). We were very polite and asked a very simple question that warrants a very simple answer and maybe idk, a reasonable attempt to accommodate? Nope, we are met with immediate contempt and hostility, and this clown of a owner starts pointing at his “we reserve the right to refuse business” sign while simultaneously being clueless that he just discriminated against potential customers with a food allergy, not a good look for any business. Hopefully that hateful little guy can decipher all these big vocabulary words and string together a coherent explanation for why he decided to act so disgustingly vile to a family just trying to have dinner without asphyxiating. Don’t you dare hit that Google Translate button like you did when replying to other 1-star reviews.
To the readers of this review, go take a look at all this owner’s other replies…I even added a photo to make it easy to see this...
