Very authentic, my vietnamese family approved, and there were also other Vietnamese people dining. The restaurant was very clean, adorably decorated, with TVs showing Vietnamese cooking shows. The menu is jam packed with so many great dishes, it was hard to pick what to try! We got the bun bo hue, five spice grilled chicken, wonton noodle soup, pho, and bun mam. Everything was delicious. The portions were great. Not skimping on any ingredients. The five spice chicken was so tender and juicy, seasoned to perfection, but the nuoc Cham put it over the top. Hands down the best nuoc Cham I've had (sorry mom!) I never ask for recipes but I had to ask how they make their nuoc Cham because it's distinct. Very different. I could bathe in it, it was so good! The server said he always gets compliments on it and people will drink it like soup! I don't blame them! But the customer service was over the top amazing. Every table was sat but he still took the time to walk me through how he makes it and what to do differently, because I explained to him how I make my nuoc Cham. He gave me some to take home, told me to practice until I imitate it, and when I think I've perfected it, bring him a sample so he can try!! So friendly and personable and down to earth!! I was hesitant about the prices, which is what put me off trying this place for so long. But the Federal and Alameda places are only about a dollar less, which is more than it would cost me in gas to get there! So it's awesome to have this place so close, authentic, delicious, and friendly!! Can't wait...

We had a broad selection of dishes but a definite highlight was the pork belly with shrimp paste (which the easier was concerned that we would find the smell a bit off-putting as previous clients had found it so, but no, it was delicious and the others were probably rubes...I jest, shrimp paste isn't for everyone but if you are ok with seafood, give this dish a try as the shrimp paste cuts through the fat in the pork belly). Other highlight was the beef in betel leaves, as the meat in a make-your-own lettuce wrap. Just fabulous. Fresh lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, radish, cilantro, mint, and bean sprouts. Oh, and chilled rice vermicelli with peanuts and I think a hint of soy. Try this place, it's a hidden suburban gem and I look forward to going back... Worth the...

Taste of Vietnamese is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Every single dish was packed with incredible, authentic flavors that I’ve never had anywhere else. The presentation was beautiful, and the food tasted even better than it looked. The boba drinks were delicious and the bobas were warm and soft!
The meat plate was absolutely outstanding — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of unique flavor combinations that made every bite exciting. The eggrolls were crispy and flavorful, and the different varieties of meat added such a fun and tasty twist to the meal.
Everything we ordered was fresh, vibrant, and cooked to perfection. From start to finish, the entire experience at Taste of Vietnamese was phenomenal. If you love Vietnamese food (or even if you’ve never tried it), this is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back...
