So I have a super interesting story about Caravana and a good lesson on exceptional customer service. I moved here from being out of the country and had to buy all new furniture for my place. . I went to Caravana and bought a dining table set, a sofa/futon, an accent chair, a bed frame, two nightstands & a mattress. A very solid purchase which should have made me a highly valuable customer... When their delivery guys delivered it one of the guys was exceptionally rude and one dining chair was missing bc they needed to order it (wasnāt informed of ahead of time). I was livid with the way the delivery went. I called Caravana and spoke to Moises (Iām not sure if heās the manager or owner)... he was extremely apologetic and said he would speak with the delivery guy...but, I was so upset that I literally vowed never to buy anything there again. š¤ . When I picked up the last chair, Moises apologized again in person and gave me a set of very soft and high quality sheets for my new bed to apologize for the inconvenience & said theyād re-trained the deliver person so the issues I experienced donāt come up again. Interestingly, the sheets were exactly what I needed as I hadnāt gotten my stuff out of storage and was using cheapie sheets. . That made things better but I wasnāt sure if Iād go back. Fast forward a few months, I was looking for stools and a reclining chair. I went everywhereāAshley, Pier One, Living Spaces & a couple of boutique furniture stores...no one had what I was looking for, at the price point I wanted. I went back to Caravana. He immediately helped me, spent time with me to understand my needs and got me exactly what I wanted. I am now not only a happy customer but a loyal one bc of Moises. Iāve shopped for furniture and many things globally, never have I received the customer service I have received from Moises and never has a company been able to turn a negative experience to such a positive one in such a skillful and humane manner. I highly recommend Caravana!! Most of the furniture in my pics is from them. š . p.s. the same driver (and a second driver) delivered the furniture. He was extremely polite, well-behaved and it was clear they absolutely re-trained...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't hate this place... But I did have a series of bad experiences leading to a piece of furniture that I now own that is not right on at ALL - and there is no return policy..... I may have to contact Synchrony bank about this one... I bought a dining room table that turned out very badly done... and we had to send chairs back to be refitted for properly sized legs and it took them a very long time to get back to us. Not happy.... and now I have a dining room table that every time I look at - I'm unable to smile at. This is only the second review I've ever given anything less than a perfect five stars on..... So you know this must have been a negative experience... Hope Corporate calls me on this one also.. I could provide a clear testimony as to why the dining room table i purchased looks as if somebody closed their eyes when they applied the stain to it and didn't do it right..... there are staining blotches all over the table.... and its unfixable.... and the tabletop bows one way, convex, while the leaf, when it is installed, bows concave... so it is very noticeable when the leaf is in. Sad. Were this to be fixed - SOMEHOW - deleting this negative review could definitely happen. I don't ever do stuff like this, to get things for free or anything like that, but I hope somebody takes notice of this and contacts me about it.... the design of the table is beautiful - and we liked the mid-century modern Concept...... that's why we bought it ... but now every time I look at it - I'm just very upset that I've spent well over $1,000 on this - and I actually just can't even look at it. We bought it a month ago and it's been sitting in the dining room - and we've only eaten...

The problem with local shops sometimes, they have posted hours both online and on their doors, but they don't abide by them. We drove 15miles to this store only to have them shut the lights off as we tried to enter, over an hour before their scheduled time to close. We got their at 545pm and the store hours claim they close at 7pm. Spoke to one of the employees, and he says they are by appointment only now. That's right, you must schedule an appointment to buy furniture from this place. Had this been mentioned on their website, or Google, I might have planned accordingly. Uncurteous to the patrons, unprofessional look overall. Will update review if they follow up. The employee I spoke to really should have...
