My friend and I love Taco Bell and a couple of times per week we walk almost two miles from our home to this location. When we arrived the door was unlocked with the hours on the door stating they were open until 1:00 am or later. When we walked in, the cashier said sorry we're closed for dining. Since we had no car with us at the time, itold her our situation and asked her to take our order and we would leave and not dine in as we didn't plan on doing so anyways. She still refused to take our order and I asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and came back up to the front and said the manager still won't take our order. I said can I please speak to the manager and she said she was too busy. I told her we had time and could wait until she had a moment to address the issue at hand. The manager walked out and the cashier approached her in front of us and said they won't leave until they talk to you. Please note, we never refused to leave and we're not asked to leave. The manager looked up at me and I explained the situation to her. She didn't walk up to me either, she was further toward the drive thru window so I had to explain myself in front of the entire crew. I simply explained we just want two burritos and we wanted it to go. I was paying with credit card so I knew it wouldn't affect the front registers since they appeared to be in the process of shutting them down. She rolled her eyes at use and told her cashier, just take their order. At this point I was curious. I used to be a manager for a fast food restaurant and know how vital customer service is. I was polite the whole time. After the food was ready the cashier put it on the counter without saying a word. Then when she handed me my receipt with the order she didnt say anything. Also during her taking our order she stopped me and went to lock the door. We got our sauces and went to walk out but couldn't leave because she locked the door. We waited for her to finish cleaning and then she came to unlock the door. I smiled and said thank you and also asked for her name. She asked me why and I explained I needed to report my experience here tonight and she said too bad you don't need my name. I then asked her if she was reading to give me her name and she proceeded to tell me yes she is refusing. What she failed to remember is her name is on the receipt. I was simply double checking to make sure she gave me the same name that matched the receipt. Iv never been this disgusted with the negative attitudes and customer service and treatment by any staff until this incident. I hope Taco Bell can midigate this issue in a feasible way and that the staff here learn from...
Read moreI just left this store tonight,Sept 19,,9:20p.m.,with soggy nachos. The young man who made my nachos had an attitude and was arguing with me and telling me he just got done with my order, when I was standing there in front of the counter watching him put my order to the side and started on another order. I didn't know that it was my order at the time until I asked for my order and a woman helped me and she grabbed the same bag I saw him put to the side. So,my nachos sat there for a minute or two,hot and steaming, but covered with the plastic plate cover. It already was getting soggy nacho chips. I spoke to the woman and he overheard me,and he started arguing with me and said thats not what happened and he had an attitude. I'm not saying that customers are always right, but I was at that time. I saw him put my order to side and didn't tell anyone there that its ready to go. I just want whatever I ordered given to me when it's done,ESPECIALLY the Nachos because nobody wants soggy tortilla chips!! Oh,this is not the first time for me,either! These young workers there better realize that they're working in a fast food chain and we as customers still want that fast service, regardless. This guy thinks he's in the park with the young girls that work, and I'm priority #2. Amazing,Unbelievable. He's gotten too relaxed and probably forgot that he's working in a public service fast food restaurant that fast service and good food and being corteous and friendly to customers is...
Read moreTerrible service. Ordered online [ORDER# 915142] - drove, walked in-store instead of drive-thru, then intentionally ignored. How you ask? I made eye contact with the cashier manning the register. I stood there for a bit waiting for him to ask to ask me for my order, let alone say the customary 'hello-welcome' - but no. He decided to walk away after 10-15 seconds take a break. He sat down and got on his phone.
Ok no biggie he's on break, right? The other two ladies manning the drive thru kept walking back and forth shuffling drive-thru orders while looking at me on each cross walk. After a couple minutes, I said hey to get one of their attention, they looked back. Ok, they'll be over once they're done with that order I thought.
I waited over 7 mins to be handed my food which less than 10 feet away across the counter. I had to literally yell out "Hey - Can someone come here and hand me that bag!!!!" while persisting eye contact to have her come over. I ensured my gaze completely uncomfortable to force action. Of course she handed the food without saying a word - let alone verify who it's for. I could have easily gone back to my car, into the drive-thru queue and picked up my food.
Why all this? This staff is unequivocally racially biased: a black man who walked in must be a vagrant or he can wait for his order to get...
