Hana Nail Spa — Local services in Long Beach

I have been coming here with Sandy. She does a good job but unfortunately had a bad experience with the owner Victoria. She tried charging me more. Sandy gave me a price and when I am about to pay Victoria charges me $10 more. I questioned why and she says "because of the nail shape" and I tell her I have always come and never had a problem with the price and she rudely says I am the Owner, I know. Sandy didn't charge you right and if I change the price the rest of the customers are going to see. At that point I ask Sandy about the price charge difference and her and Victoria start speaking in their language and Victoria apologize and says I thought it was gel. So she lied to me, she said because of the nail shape. She didn't even tried to get me a discount for the inconvenience or something for the next time I would come. This was one of the worst places that I have EVER been. My friend and I paid $130.00 to be Bruised, Burned, and left for 15 mins in paraffin wax. At first the water was cold and there was a hair floating in it so we tried to leave and someone chased us out the door and said to come back in that they would make it right. We should have left then. When we sat down and picked our package we were told $10 more for GeL added to our package...We had a combo but then after starting they told us $20 for the gel. They put way too hot wax on me and burned me, I still have the burns. The woman who did this, just left after I told her that it was too hot and someone else too over. They bruised my arm so bad doing the massage that I thought for 48 hours that my shoulder was dislocated. Horrible service!!! Sooo I’m glad i decided that places have bad days and clearly some of the reviews look to either have been bad days or just busy days. I didn’t experience or witness any yelling or rudeness on part of any of the staff or owner who was there. The services were good and i liked the finish product. They are busy(like most nail shops on a Friday) but i honestly went in on my lunch break, and was seated within 5 mins of arriving. My gel nails were done in 45 mins and they came out super cute.
