La Cocina — Restaurant in Long Beach

Just stopped by this place about an hour. It's my first experience here and definitely the last. The employees were pretty rude, especially the woman making the food. I ordered a burrito with red and green sauce and when the man up front told her that she clearly complained and started taking under her breath. She did not put gloves on. She handled everything with her bare hands. Then sloppily threw everything together on a tortilla and put it in a styrofoam box and threw it in the microwave!!! What the f?? I have NEVER seen any restaurant make a burrito like that before. Oh, and they charged me $13.50 for this burrito... Uh?? It said $7.99 on the menu. Never again. Totally...

I have been coming here for over 20 years back when this was Green Burrito they used to care about customers and how they felt and the quality they put forth into their food whenever I come in and the owner of the place is in he pays attention to what he's doing and how well he put things together when his wife is there she could care less about the customer satisfaction or the quality that she puts forth when she boxes the foods or puts it together she short changes you she doesn't care when you complain and she will verbally tell you to go away and hang the phone up if you call with a complaint if she is in the place when you get there be prepared for some poor...

I decided to try this place because my usual spot was closed. I ordered 2 bacon breakfast burritos one with potatoes one with beans because the lady helping me was obviously having a hard time understanding what I meant. Instead I got 1 with potatoes and beans and the other with neither. No problem, I went back and explained and they fixed it by putting old microwaved potatoes. I understand cutting corners but there was nobody else in there and honestly i payed for fresh food not old chewy, greasy potatoes. Leaving one star because It doesn’t even take that long to cook them. Sorry, not...
