I would have given this place a 5-star rating, but the older Hispanic lady who helped me was not very helpful, and her overall attitude was rude. I had never been to Yum-Yum Donuts until now, so I was taking my time to look at all the selections they had to offer. There wasn’t anyone in line behind me waiting, so I figured it was fine. However, she just kept standing behind the counter, looking annoyed at me until two minutes went by, and she said to ‘let her know when I’m ready to order.’ This wouldn’t have bothered me if she had said it politely, but unfortunately, she didn’t.
Once I finally said that I was ready a few minutes later, she came back to the counter from the back kitchen. I asked her about the new filled muffins they have on sale because it looked really delicious. I inquired about the flavor of the muffin and filling. The response she gave me was, ‘The muffin has no flavor. It’s just a muffin. The filling is a whipped cream or custard.’ I was confused and said, ‘What do you mean there’s no flavor? That’s impossible. Every muffin has to have some kind of flavor, even if it’s just vanilla extract in the recipe.’ She continued to argue with me, saying that it didn’t. So, I got annoyed and decided to get something else instead. I don’t understand how you don’t know what flavor your product is if you’re making and selling it. It’s probably a good idea to have the employees of your store learn all the different flavors and types of baked goods for sale in the store if you want to be successful. They should probably have a more patient and kind...
Read moreI gave one star for food because the Apple Fritter didn't had any Apple pieces inside it. That's what the Apple Fritters are known for. How are y'all going to leave out that special ingredient?.
I've noticed so many donut shops are cutting back on Apple Fritter ingredients.

On 06/25/24 I've ordered a bag of fancy donut balls and because they were on the top of the counter display and with the sun heat beaming on to them it made the frosting to melt.

I've got the bear claw and it was completely dry, this place shouldn't be in business for price gouging their customers by skipping on the certain ingredients that makes the bear claw. That's why mom and pop donut shop are the best.
This store should close for good unless they stop nickel and dime...
Read moreI've bought donuts here a half dozen times and been disappointed everytime. This is the only donut shop I've ever tried to return a donut to for a refund. The donut shape, doneness, and flavor are inconsistent. Overall very poor quality. The donuts have often been undercooked, raw, white color and poor texture. The bar and twist donuts are different sizes and shapes, some thin, like half thickness. Regular chocolate donuts have been salty. Also, there has been the flavors of bad or old or overused oil. And they've given me the wrong donuts. Ive only had donuts here, but as far as they go, its the worst donut shop Ive ever eaten at. I only have returned when its the only shop in...
