They have more merch than doughnuts. I got every doughnut they had to try, it was only 7 kinds. I got about a dozen doughnuts and it was over $60, some of the doughnuts are $5 each. Not a single sprinkle doughnut. Many of the doughnuts are weird flavors. They don't have any croissants or breakfast sandwiches or bagels or any of the other things you'd expect at a doughnut shop. I think they only have coffee and tea, no Gatorade or energy drinks or other drinks. I couldn't tell though because their menu is hard to read and way off to the side. Feels like they went for a giant unreadable menu for the aesthetics over a menu that's easy to read. Some of the doughnuts were ok, glaze was ok, apple fritter was probably the best but still just ok. The other doughnuts are weird flavors that don't taste good. The doughnuts are also huge but can be pretty thick and doughy, they taste more bready. Big doughnuts are better when they are light and fluffy. The staff was nice and friendly though, just wish the doughnuts were better, especially given the price and the fact they don't have much variety. Overall felt like more effort was put into being trendy than into the doughnuts. Yum Yums right across the street is better and won't cost $60 for a dozen. Simone's just down the street is much better and worth the...
Read moreI came to this donut shop after seeing it promoted on social media. Looked promising. I ordered a few donuts wanted to try as many flavors as I can. And it was a disappointment unfortunately. The donuts were cold and by far the stickiest donuts I’ve ever tried at a donut shop. All of them had to toss them. This place is all aesthetic and nothing more unfortunately. And to top it off, no restroom to wash your sticky hands. I’m all for supporting small businesses. And I could care less about the price. If the donuts are good I’ll pay a premium I don’t mind. But this place you can skip, or not don’t listen to me who am I. I’m no one just some random man with an opinion Lol. Long Beach is a very competitive city with so many options for great donuts/ food/ restaurants. A lot of great mom and pop places that have been around for years that will give you more for your dollars if pricey donuts aren’t for you. But good luck...
Read moreShop looked promising so my husband and I had to try it! Unfortunately, didn’t live up to the hype! While the donuts looked gorgeous and possibly worth the high price of $4.25 each, we were so disappointed! Donuts were dense, and it seemed that only the frosting added flavor: we tried a Campfire Pancake and Strawberry donut and sadly pretty bland and tasteless. My husband ordered the Standard Drip coffee and could only take a few sips - he was not impressed! I feel bad for saying it but, we felt ripped off! I was rooting for this new unique-looking donut shop in our neighborhood but we can get better tasting, cheaper donuts in other close-by shops. Hopefully Moonbridge is just warming up, because the donuts look great and they just need to work on their recipe to make them taste as good as they look. Maybe we’ll try Moonbridge again in a few months if they’re...
