Madewell — Local services in Long Beach

Bought a pack of (3) extremely overpriced cotton masks on a Saturday. The next day one broke, I threw it away and let it go. Monday morning the second one broke...for $28, not ok and worth driving back for a standard WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. I drove back with the broken mask and the one good mask and asked for a replacement of at least the one broken 1 that I had with me. The assistant manger told me she could do NOTHING for me without the 3rd mask. Manger gets involved and gives me the same commentary, but at least has enough customer service common sense to make an exception for this 50cent piece of cloth that is up charged to $28 dollars. Again, standard warranty procedure would be to, at minimum, replace the broken one that you can see with your eyes is broken. Zero stars for customer service. I was at a store nearby and stumbled across Madewell and I'm so glad I did. A friend had mentioned the brand to me before as she knows that company is with sustainability practices are important to me. The staff here were above and beyond! Good customer service is so hard to find these days and increasingly important in an internet shopping driven world. The girls made me feel super welcomed to try on as many clothes as I wanted and I ended up buying a lot of them! I believe I worked with the store manager her name was Airica. She made my shopping experience so enjoyable, made really great recommendations, let me know where I could find alternative colors online, got me alternative colors and sizes to try on, and made me so excited for all of my purchases. I had a personal styling appointment here with Airica and it was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had! I had an idea of some things I was looking for and Airica not only delivered on these but also suggested other items that I ended up loving as well, which was amazing because I would never have chosen them off the rack for myself.
