I use to love coming to this place. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. My sister wedding makeup artist canceled last minute and they were able to squeeze her in. The lady took her time to help but when my sister wanted to add in critique it seemed as if she was offende. We needed to explain it was for her wedding and she wanted gold/glory skin/ romantic and she went the other way with it when it came to her foundation and even made it look very cake. My sister kept giving me looks to see if I could intervene so I went look for a manage. When I got ahold of one they made it seem like it was our fault for rushing the artist. We understand we did give them a time limit but that's no reason for the layered on foundation. Then they said they could fix it but not do her lip or lashes. I told them it's fine them and just finish the look. Another manager came to us and asked what the problem was in a very rude tone and was surprised when we said the occasion was for the wedding. She then proceed to ask if professional photos were being taken and when told yes she justified the strong look of makeup. Ny sister felt shamed into sticking with the look and wept in the car once we left. They didn't even get her tone right. But two shades paler. My sister is a very kind person and understanding but i will not tolerate how poor their costumers service was. Read moreI’m not one to ever post bad reviews and it breaks my heart because this is my favorite Sephora. I get that it’s the holiday season and stress is high. I spend hundreds , if not thousands of dollars on a frequent basis here. And I came here to last minute pickup a Prada perfume, which mind you- is one of the smaller orders. I frequently pick up, I was overlooked, and treated poorly. The Sephora girls are so kind and usually greet my friends, even my friends dog. but today however, when we got in the online pickup line, we were overlooked by one of the cashiers, mad dogged and she kept on going through the line, ignored us, I then decided I’d do curbside instead. She couldn’t find our car because there was a car parked in the designated pickup. I almost cancelled but decided not to because the girl I was on the phone with was very kind.
BUT- For our luck, the girl that overlooked us, gave us our order. Was clearly NOT happy about it. Which again, I get. It’s the holiday season, stress is high. An experience that was really extraordinary was when I got a facial and eyebrow waxing with Nance, who is a certified esthetician. Nance was very attentive to waxing my brows since it was my first time and she made that first time experience very nice, I felt no pain at all and my brows were as modified and in place as I dreamed of. She is a great conversationalist (as is so many of the staff in here, I noticed) and she didn’t try to push any products on me.
