After searching for months looking for an engagement ring (online, dept stores, etc), I was close to giving up. I mean I wasn't gonna give up but it was seemingly impossible to find a jeweler who wasn't a salesperson first. So it was so refreshing to even talk to Serina, the jeweler at Phnom Pich Jewelry. She's clearly an artisan who takes pride in her work (she custom makes a good number of her wares). But she also takes equal interest in what her customers want.
She spent so much time working with us to narrow down our preferences, taking into account our ideal size, style, and price. She had a firm understanding of our aesthetic and design principles so in the end, we trusted her to create a custom ring for us. Throughout the making the ring, Serina was very communicative and open about the process. Because she has a jeweler in-house, she was able to guide us through ring resizing and the setting of the diamond. Given this is the first piece of jewelry I've personally commissioned, I really appreciated and felt reassured by her professionalism and expertise.
