Sit 'n Sleep — Local services in Long Beach

Okay. So here is now what i'm stuck with around a year after my disastrous purchase of products from this location of Sit N Sleep. All be it true that Sit N Sleep did honor returns of all the products that were sold to me that i clearly never needed i am now left with a mattress that everyday my body and pains are worse then ever. And with my upcoming surgery for these issues in 2024 i am truly worried. The sad thing is when i went into the store the main reason was that i was finally able to buy a great quality and superior mattress with hopefully the right price? Instead everything turned into a complete disaster and nightmare where i am now this villian because of my not being satisfied with my purchase at all because of my pain. And now the maker of the mattress itself Kingsdown which is a Well Established Company with top quaility mattress's coming up to 120 Years in business according to their Representative Cynthia (who was getting a little snied with me on the phone) who i just spoke to at around 8:45am this morning said, 'Their is nothing Kingsdown can do about it because Sit N Sleep handles all their Warranty issues'. Which i am beyond confused about because is it even a Warranty issue? When Sit N Sleeps Representative handled the claim Months after my purchase she told me that she could not take back the mattress because it had been exchanged once already? But it wasn't exchanged? I returned one and bought a different one that unfortunately is the wrong type of mattress. So shouldn't i be able to exchange this one for finally the right type of mattress for me? I mean does a Company actually think that someone would do this for fun? It is very time consuming and physical to do so and why would anyone bother? All i need is a innerspring firm or extra firm mattress that hopefully i can possibly pair with an adjustable base in the future if i need to that's it. But it just makes me feel sad and sick that for years and years i alway's wanted to get my mattress from Sit N Sleep, mainly because of forever seeing the commercials with that slogan 'Will beat any Companies other price or your mattress is free'!. But cost was not my issue. Just getting the perfect mattress finally to help me sleep better and feel bettter for once and and instead i got one of the worst experiences ever with a purchase of anything and to this day i am in the worst pain ever sleeping and neither Sit N Sleep nor Kingsdown are even willing to help me fix or remedy my problem. The day I purchased a bed along with sheets and pillows my experience was great however the day of the delivery is where it was a complete nightmare that has continued. The Assistant Manager Reza Iradi was who help me and my wife the day of purchase. When the mattress, bed frame and accessories were delivered the mattress had numerous holes, the base of the bed was broken and it was the wrong bed. I immediately called the store and spoke to the Manager Nicole Padilla. She told me to refuse the delivery and she would make it right and have Reza call me. After a day passed I had not received a call from Reza. My wife ended up calling him explaining the situation and then ask how we were going to be compensated for mistakes made with our order. Reza stated he would have to call the corporate office and get a ok to do what my wife was asking. The next day I received a call from Nicole and she said they were going to discount the price to make up for the mistake. The second delivery came and again the order was wrong. We didn't receive the bed platform just the legs and a set of sheets were on back order. I accepted the delivery because I assumed Nicole and or Reza would do the right thing to makeup for yet another mistake, boy was I wrong.I have called three times since my delivery also leaving a message with Kevin to have Reza and or Nicole call me back. They have not reached out to me and obviously are ignoring my phone calls. To top it off I was charge 500 dollars more then my previous invoice. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. *Updated review: This bed turned out to be disappointing. After about 4 months of having this bed I started to notice the springs were getting lopsided in certain spots. So I just kept rotating the bed to see if it would even out. But then after a year it just got worse. I ended up buying a separate pillow top to put over the mattress that helped temporarily, but then the pillow top just started to get lopsided with the structure of this bed. I do have the corresponding box frame to this mattress so I would think it would support the mattress well? Pretty much don’t have good sleep many nights out of the week. I have to prop myself with pillows under my spine and shoulders to keep from sinking in. This bed was around $1200 plus tax. Might as well just go back to IKEA and spend half the amount. I’ll be recycling this bed. I don’t recommend the Kingsdown mattress.

This Sit n Sleep location is great! Nicole is so helpful and kind. I was greeted when I came into the store. I was given detailed info about each mattress I tried out. Nicole is so knowledgeable, understanding, patient, pleasant and so nice. I bought the Kingsdown firm mattress and I love it. It was expensive, but a good investment because my sleep has improved! I shopped around Macys, Mattress Firm, IKEA and seriously laid down on so many beds and Sit n Sleep has the best quality of mattresses by far. The delivery guys were very fast and efficient.
