So our experience here was subpar. We dealt with them 3 times. Once to look at mattresses, once to come in & purchase one, and once to pick it up. First Time: Good visit, we had people helping us and talking to us about the mattress. They had a guy who specializes in mattresses, so he was able to give us some good information.
Second Time: We came in, some of the lights in the store were off so it was super dark, and no one was around. We sat in the mattress section for 10 minutes, no sign of anyone (customer or associates) even when I walked around to different sections and it was obvious I was looking for someone. I walked up to the desk where someone was eating her lunch (out in the store, not in a back room) and asked for help in the mattress department. About 5 minutes later, the guy came out and told us we could take the sales model in the back or pick one up in Fort Collins or have them drive one up to Longmont. We opted to have one driven to Longmont to pick up the following Friday with the matching box spring.
Third Time: It was Wednesday afternoon and I wanted to call to check in on Friday pickup. The woman told me it wouldn't be there until Saturday, which I said wouldn't work. We both took off Friday afternoon since they close early, so we needed it Friday, like were were promised. She called back and told me she told Fort Collins they had to get it down here by Friday, so Fort Collins had already planned to bring it down on Saturday and if I hadn't called it would have been there on Saturday and we would have shown up Friday to no mattress. We picked it up Friday afternoon, I went in and told them we had arrived. They had us pull up to the side, only to tell us our box spring was not in stock. I'm sorry what? That's weird, since WE ALREADY PAID FOR IT. They offered to give us a floor model or a different size. Not a huge deal, but we ordered the 11 inch and got the 7 inch. She said there was no price difference, but I find that hard to believe. We took both & went home.
In the future, we won't be going back. We did buy a nice king size pillow top mattress for $1,300 so that's great. We were talked into buying a $50 waterproof cover for the bed. I assumed it went all the way around the bed & zipped, to 100% protect the mattress. We got home and I realized it's just a cover on the top, not the full mattress like I thought it was. I'm assuming the one at this store is nicer, but we had bought similar ones on Amazon for cheaper so I'm not sure this purchase was necessary for us. But we aren't unhappy with it, and it will help if we need to file a warranty claim ever. That was my fault for not clarifying. My main issue with the staff seems was how unprofessional eating out in the store, the 10+ minutes it took to find someone when we wanted to purchase (it took 2 minutes the first time to find someone, so much more reasonable), me having to call and tell the store about our Friday pickup (since they said our mattress wouldn't be there until Saturday and having to deal with that minor hiccup) and they didn't have the product in stock that we were supposed to pick up after we paid for it.
So price wise, great deals. Good prices & good products. Other than that,...
Read moreI would have given 5 stars but unfortunately I can’t. They do have a great variety of furniture for great prices and I was happy with my purchases and the staff - AT FIRST. However, I ordered a headboard for my daughter (whom I took into the store with me to pick out), It wasn’t in store so it was to be ordered and be in after 2 weeks...two weeks went by and no call. So I figured maybe it was late and waited another week - still no call. So I called the store and spoke with a woman who proceeded to tell me that the order was processed but she never ordered it. So of course I was annoyed because I made the purchase WITH CASH and it seemed like the associate that I ordered with wasn’t worried about following up and making sure the order was fully processed. And not only that but my daughter has been waiting for her bed! The only remedy she suggested is that she put the order in now and it would be another 2 weeks - which is totally unacceptable, so I just asked for my money back. She told me sure and that the owner would be in the next day to write me a check - at which time she also failed to tell me that they close at 4 on Fridays 😐 so I once again wasted my time going after work to pick up the check to find that they were closed. So I went back the following day and to my sweet surprise the owner of the store writing me the check, was also the sales associate who sold me the bed in the first place!! He only apologized and didn’t ask or suggest any remedy to the situation!! It was pretty mind boggling to me, especially because they not only would have just basically taken my money and never fulfilled the PO but obviously he was not concerned in having a return customer - which I was going to be because I was actually going to buy a couch from them. So all in all, it was an unfortunate experience that was handled pretty poorly and therefor wouldn’t recommend anyone else to shop there unless you want to be following up on your purchase - which is what i thought you’re supposed to have...

The customer service first of all, is top notch. Brandi was the one who assisted me with my search and not only was very professional, she actually seemed to care about what I invisioned for both my living room and bedroom and knew exactly what items & pieces to show me that were within my price frame (ask for her if you go, you'll see what I mean). The great selection is almost surprising too, similar to those big-box furniture stores in quantity, but a way better variety of styles to meet any decor and budget, with QUALITY.
I feel like furniture is just one of those things that buying online will never take over entirely. You wouldn't buy a car without test driving it, would you? I never felt pushed to buy like I did at pretty much everywhere in Furniture Row or AFF, my shopping experience was truly customized, I was able to support a locally owned business, and I didn't break the bank.
