Food is delicous, but recent staff leaves something to be desired.
Came in with a reservation for 6 on a Saturday morning recently. Turns out, about 2 minutes before us, a group of 6 showed up WITHOUT a reservation. Needless to say, the staff gave our table to them by accident, and then seemed to treat us like it was our fault they had to cram together two tables. We were waiting on two others of our party, but as soon as we were seated our waitress wanted to know what everyone wanted to drink. She came back as the rest of our party was taking off their coats and asked them before they'd even sat down. The entire time we felt like the staff wanted nothing more than for us to leave, as the tables they had shoved together for us to sit at were at were somewhat in their way. Several of our party members ordered hot drinks, and we were informed that the chai teas came from the bar and would take a few minutes extra. They came about 20 mintues after everyone else's drinks, long after we'd been served food and had started eating. The food was delicous as always, but the staff was so sub-par on this occasion that it cast a gloomy cloud on our morning out. It's rare to receive such poor...
Read moreThis was once my favorite place to get breakfast/lunch, but menu/recipe changes and prices have somewhat lessened my desire to go here as often. The people are awesome though and it's the one thing that keeps me coming back on occasion. The staff has been fairly regular for years so they know me and my picky quirks well. They still have a great trout breakfast which somehow reminds me of camping and several tasty skillet dishes I still enjoy. Avoid the biscuits unless you like tiny hard bread products that have been microwaved, yes microwaved, I asked. Their old biscuits were great, but apparently going cheaper was better for them so the quality of their food as suffered. You could once get real cream for your coffee, now you get those prepackaged creamers stocked on the table. You must ask the waitress for milk if you prefer not to use the mass produced creamers. The only changes I liked over the last couple of years was the addition Bloody Mary's and Mai Tai's. You can't get a $2 drink anywhere else in town and...

Been here many times because I live nearby. Most of the food is frozen or canned. No fresh blueberries for your non-steel-cut oatmeal. My English muffin had something green inside it. They said it was food coloring (what do they add food coloring to then?) but gave me a new one. My egg white omelet was way undercooked. Gave me a new one.
Whole experience was underwhelming. They gave me 25% off the bill.
Service is good. Food quality is not.
Coffee is strong and cheep, but they bring a pitcher to the table so you can refill your coffee yourself. Meh.
Suggestions: better coffee, brew the coffee when it's ordered, don't pre-brew a bunch of pots. Fresh fruit. Better quality oatmeal. Cook the potatoes to order, not frozen. Add hash browns to the menu if you insist on doing frozen potatoes.
Total cost for two people was $20-ish after the...
