EntertainMART — Local services in Longview

So I bought an item and the day after I bought the item I accidentally called the wrong store location to see if I could return it because I was having issue with the item. I spoke to a lady I’m assuming the manager of the store and she said I was not able to return it then we found out that it was the wrong store I had called to begin with. I bought the item at the Tyler location but ended up calling the Longview one because I didn’t check the location of the store when I entered it on Google. So I go to the actual store in Tyler where originally I purchased the item, the lady who took care of me told me that she got a phone call from that lady in Longview saying that basically, these people are gonna call you or go to you about an item which was very disrespectful in my opinion, because it wasn’t any of her business nor her store, where I bought the item at the end of the day everything was worked out and Tyler was very helpful longview, needs to worry about their own store, and the item I purchased was defective I even have videos on my phone of the item, not working in case they want to say on the review that I was returning it only because I didn’t like the quality of it I spent over $140 on that item for it not to work the moment I come home. It was a vinyl record player. And when I put my vinyl in there, it was skipping. But when I put in my record on my other record player that I own at home, it worked perfectly fine basically Longview woman whoever you are Manager or employee mind your business and do your job instead of trying to get involved with problems that’s arnt even part of the store you work at sad thing is I went to the Longview store so much more and invested more money at that one then the one in Tyler but never will be returning there...

Although there remains a vast variety of vintage games, comics, vinyls, and more, the customer service unfortunately is just not all that great. I went in today to trade in some gift cards for money, which they are known for. I entered the establishment, and when i asked if they still did that, I got a snarky look followed by a, "Uhh, yeah?" This was already unpleasant but when I asked if I could trade these in, he looked me up and down and said, "Uhh, are you over 18?" I understand verification of age and what not, but the look was an unnecessary addition, I currently did not have my I.D. so I grabbed it out of my car and was escorted to the friendlier staff member. After as much time was wasted already, I was then told that they don't accept these gift cards, even after being rudely told that they do. Used to love going to this store, but the level of scalping and price gouging with the Nintendo switch 2 is unacceptable. To charge a 33% markup alone on a retail system is unacceptable from a STORE! However on top of that they have the audacity to require purchase of an 80$ game as well as a controller and a case just to receive the “privilege” of paying 610$ for a 450$ device. I am appalled by the business practice of this store and I will not be returning to this location or the Tyler...
