The Boy Band Review was great! Loved it! Twist on Taylor was awesome! Loved that she stayed for pictures and autographs afterwards. Sucked that she was set up on the darkest side of the building for pictures. She should have been on the south side of the building that had the better lighting. But whatever. Was super annoying that the website said bring your own chairs... but not in bags. And no outside food or drinks. So I took all of our chairs out of bags before arriving. Only to get in and find every other person carried their chairs in the bags... that supposedly weren't allowed. Never saw anyone checking bags for outside food or drink either. Also, the amount of smoking and weed consumption going on during a kid friendly event was astronomical. And absolutely disgusting. I now remember why I hate attending outdoor events. Such a major turn off and big disappointment for me bringing...

It was really hot. It was hard to get out of the Sun. I started feeling a little sick. I moved into a spot where I could stand that was a bit shaded. Maybe they have little bottles of water on the boat but I didn't ask. If they don't maybe they should have. The tour guide was very nice but I think he could have had a little more detailed explanations of the area/history. Plus our boat boarding time was delayed because there was a big cloud that caused some rain a couple times for short periods. No one came out to Dock A to say if our ride was canceled or not. Rockin" On The River events "ROCK!!". It's the greatest outdoors entertainment Lorain has ever put on. When I was a teenager growing up in Lorain, all these events were seen in other cities like Cleveland and Akron, so I never got a chance to be there. But now, although these great groups merely played in small clubs and events, they NOW have a great opportunity to really shine and stretch their wings. Myself as well as others, get a chance to experience their great music and bands first hand without leaving town. The prices of the events are affordable, it's fun and entertaining.
