IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REALIZE THIS IS NOT A CORPORATE STORE. My paid off tmobile phone broke. I was considering switching to Verizon instead of taking advantage of my warranty with Tmobile. I contacted this store asking if the phone had to be unlocked in order to transfer it over, i was told no. He actually told me to bring all my old phones in and he would give me a deal. I went here not knowing it was NOT an actual Verizon corporate store. Sam was here and he was multi tasking customers. He did not sit down and discuss prices with me, but rather he started looking at all my phones to see if he could take them as a trade in. He did this while helping other customers. He assured me he was getting me the lowest rate possible. What he did not assure me of is that he could not beat VERIZONS rate. He was moving so fast between customers that i didd NOT realize I was being scammed. VERIZON CORPORATE OFFICE was offering free phones to new customers. I not only traded in my phones that were near new from tmobile AND under WARRANTY valued around $1100, but i was sold 2 new phones at $1100 EACH. Sam also set my passwords as well as the security questions while i went to the restroom. It was not until the next day and speaking with friends that I realized what happenned SSO i went to the corporate store in Elyria NEXT TO OLIVE GARDEN that the employees there CONFIRMED for me that VERIZON would have given me FREE phones, not taken my trade in & would have been roughly $25 a month CHEAPER. Also i received text messages and phone calls from India saying they are Verizon & promising to lower my bill within just hours of leaving. While i was on the phone with the Verizons REAL corporate office alterations were being made to my account. . When i spoke to the store employees at this location, they told me they are not allowed to touch any plan Sam sets up and only he and the district manager will help me, but they will not give my own phones back. Apparently When sam was filling out the contract and CHECK MARKING FOR ME and telling me what to sign, i signed they could get rid of my phones immediately as well as alter my contract at ANYTIME. he says he will make it right, but only if I go in the store. I was told by the police I will need to take them to small claims court. it sounds like its cellular fraud occuring. Verizon CORPORATE will be called too. He moves so fast you really dont realized what is happenning until you get home. Also he was transfering my data without even discussing phone plans with me. I never pay my cell phone on time since it has no interest. He told me he was cheaper than Tmobile but thats becuase he pulled up my tmobile app while he had it in his hand and viewed my monthly bill wihthout asking. He literally doubled the price i am paying tmobile monthly . I want my phones back or these for free and NO contract with this store and start all over at A CORPORATE STORE. ALSO in the hand written contract it shows a DIFFERENT phone sold to me than what he typed on the REAL contract. He sold me a CHEAPER phone than what he put on the REAL contract that goes to VERIZON. The corporate store caught on to this. When I called the store to question this I was told told sam was off and that they are NOT allowed to help "his" customers because he is so high up in the company.They told me I had to call him at home. I was standing in the Verizon corporate store when the employees pointed out everything wrong and sam argued with them to not be speaking to "his customer." They even pointed out to him the corporate store is $25 dollars a month cheaper, i woud have received a phone for FREE AND KEPT MY TMOBILE PHONES, WHICH I COULD HAVE SOLD.if i would have went to the coporate store. With this company I am paying for my phones $2200 for 2 phones, paying more monthly and they took my phones. BE CAREFUL. THIS IS NOT A CORPORATE STORE AND VERY MANIPULATING AND SNEAKY. Both of the sales associates that my husband and I worked with were super unprofessional and barely spoke to us. When we walked in we were just kind of looked at, no greeting until we stood there for a little while longer. And then once an associate was able to help, he was not polite and just said "What phone do you want." Thank goodness my husband and I looked up different phones online, because we felt like we were bothering this man by just being in the store. He was not really interested in talking to us about the different phones we have been debating on. They had to order the phones we decided on because they didn't have any in stock, which wasn't a big deal. When we went to pick up the phones the next day, there was another young man that "helped" us, no smile, no greeting, no nothing. He had a very 'What do you want' attitude and didn't even help us set up our new phones. He just turned them on and handed them too us, even though I kept asking how to back things up and if everything would pull over (I'm not tech savvy) He just kept looking at me like I was bothering him and like my questions were stupid. I'm thankful my husband kind of knew what he was doing, and he was help to help me through the process 1/2 in the store and then 1/2 when we got home because we were both really angry at this point. After we managed to at least get the phones working, the gentleman didn't even say goodbye, he just looked at us. WE had to ask about cases and screen protectors. They didn't have any cases to choose from, which was disappointing but we did opt to get some sort of liquid glass on it. My husband asked what it was and the man looked at him and simply said "liquid.... glass..." like we were stupid. I was honestly this guy helped put it on he was so rude. Once we was done again he just stared at us for a moment, so there was an awkward silence and finally said "if you're good, you can go." My husband and I left quite angry at the horrible and rude service. Later we found out that we got different phones than what we asked for and had to go back to the now dreaded Verizon store to ask why. The gentleman that helped us the first day explained that no one had to phones we asked for so he chose a similar phone, but widely unpopular phone. He did apologize that he didn't explain that to us, but NO ONE told us we had a different phone and we didn't think to check until we got home and the only cases we were able to find ($40 later) didn't fit. Overall the whole experience was AWFULL and highly upsetting. We will NOT be returning to this store EVER, even though it's 2 minutes from our home. I highly suggest going to any other Verizon store and avoid this one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst experience at a cell phone store I have ever had,I walked in Sunday morning with an iPhone 6 not working that was 34 days old I was informed by Jessie and KJ that in August both my phone and my wife's iPhone 6 will not work at all no calls or texts nothing completely useless phones but they would take care of me they pushed an LG phones on me and a tablet and two hum devices I didn't need telling me this was the only deal I could get. They also informed me that they could make my bill smaller and these phones are ios phones and work on the new network but I could return phones in 14 days if I didn't like them and they would give me cases and these new phones would work on my iwatches. They took my money told me I had to go to corporate store for cases and to get new watches I said give me back my phones cancel this order they told me to get my phones back so I could go to corporate I would have to immediately pay 600.00 put of pocket for restocking fee I said you told me I could return phones in 14 days I hadn't even left the store. Jessie told me too bad this is how it works then started telling my business to other customers I called verizon and they tried to get this straightened out with the store and KJ was extremely rude to me and said he never told me he could make my bill smaller while I was on the phone with verizon going so far as to say he would bet me 600.00 mocking me. I was in the store for over 5 hours with 2 hours on the phone with verizon trying to straighten this out. I went to corporate store next day and was informed by manager there that they are lying to customers and several people have come in with problems from this store.
