The store itself is quite clean. And some of the people who work in the pharmacy or beauty section, are very sociable, with an ease of talking to customers. But when it comes to the night time staff at the counter in the front, where many people check out, there should NOT be so much confusion with speech. I love the helping mentality, that's great, but people at that counter simply don't understand clear speech, or a bright smile. I don't know if they actually know how to smile, so it may not be their fault. From what I can tell, they're abuse victims, who are in a state of constant "shell shock". I get it. I'm right there with ya. But, there's a reason I am there so much, and not as an employee. ,
Sometimes you need to help your employees, instead of standing, looking at someone, with an extreme glare. I'd say that pretty rude of the staff of a person who was clearly smiling. I've not seen so much HATE in someone's eyes than from that night manager. Astounding really. You'd expect a higher class of people at the top, but it appears the highest class there, is the bottom tier workers. Will likely change to another pharmacy, since this one seems to have such disdain for it's funding customers, from it's management.
And just to add, if there's a buy one get one whatever percent off, such as 50 percent or even a measly 10 percent off, they make sure not to stock two of that item. They then claim to not have any in the back, which is a lie. Because if I buy one, and go back and hour later, there's exactly ONE on the shelf. And they've worked a deal out with the insurance companies, so that a customer cannot use an over the counter card, strictly CAN'T USE YOUR OTC ON ITEM'S ON SALE. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. For what it's worth enjoy what you can there. There are good helpful staff there but only in the formerly mentioned places. There are slightly language barriers in place there But, they try their best, and that in it of itself, is admirable But for goodness" sake, replace the top tier people, because even the pharmacist doesn't have any memory of people he's spoken to. He's more like ai, than a human in the way he deals with people. Sorry. But it's an...
Read moreIf you get “Unique” on the phone, hang up and ask for someone else. Every time I speak to this woman I have problems. First of all, she has no professional phone etiquette and is hard to understand as she leaves abnormally long gaps and silences, even if you say, “Hello? Are you still there?” The first time I called I asked her to see if a medication was in stock—I told her my son wasn’t currently a patient at Walgreens and what I was looking for. She said, “Okay, what is his name and date of birth?” Ma’am, I literally just told you he isn’t in your system. I was then put on hold 15 minutes. When someone else finally picked up the phone, they had no idea why I was on hold and no one was looking into inventory. The second time I spoke to her, I asked her to see if my son’s script had been sent over and I spelled his name out and referenced each letter. She told me it wasn’t there. I spelled it for her again, and she told me again it wasn’t there. I made calls to the doctor and previous pharmacy, they didn’t have it. I call back to Walgreens and speak to a different person and they found the script immediately… it had been there for 2 days. Why even keep workers like this? Useless, and makes everyone else look...
Read moreI am writing this review in hopes of saving someone else the time of having to deal with poor, poor customer service to get your medication. Last night I had to wait while the pharmacist kept trying to ring me up for my medication and during this entire 10 minutes she didn’t say a word to me or answer my questions. After I finally got her to hear me say that i would pay the astronomical price for my medication she said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I came back in 15 minutes and another employee went to ring me up and this lady that was helping me previously just pointed at the computer screen and told the employee that they were out of stock. The employee proceeded to just stare at me and the lady that was helping me prior just kept filling other prescriptions and didn’t say a word to me. The medication I needed has severe withdrawal symptoms, that I had begun to have thanks to a shortage of the medication, and that lady made...
