China Express — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Nasty food..i mean i eat alot of "hole in the wall" chinese fast food and this by far had to be one of the worst. For a 1 item combo and a medium drink i paid about $6.50...well that was a waste..i couldve just gone next door to mcdonalds and my money wouldve been worth much more there..the chow mein was salty..too much soy sauce, the fried rice was okaaaaay...but very bland..the orange chicken..omg...i wouldnt even consider it to be orange chicken..its chicken pieces in very soggy batter topped with sauce that just wants to make you hurl..youre greeted by a sweaty girl and the cook...let me tell you..i see him wiping his snot then handles the food like nothing happened..i mean cmon!! Will never be coming back..i mean i dont expect alot from a chinese fast food but this was just crazy..very musty and humid inside as well..ugh..i cant believe how many of the costumers who posted before thought this was a great place to have chinese fast food.. i mean i trusted your opinions..but guys..cmon..have a lil,...

I was really excited to try out a new Chinese food spot. Unfortunately, the experience here was not good! I ignored the B grade and walked in. The food looked as if it had been sitting there for a while when I went at 7:30 pm. Felt embarrassed to just walk out so tried the spicy chow mein noodles, with orange chicken, and steamed rice. The noodles were so over cooked, that it was not good. It had a good flavor, but was unable to eat it. The orange chicken may have been good if it would have been fresh. That's another thing, there was still 1 hour or so before closing and fresh food was not offered, nor foods that weren't on the warmer, since there was not much to choose from. My sister, having had experience in food industry, stated that it was noticeable that the food had been sitting for at least (possibly longer) an...

Food: The food was amazing. I had the chicken wonton soup, egg fu young. Great seasoning and it was so fresh. Parking: Small lot provided in back on Mark St. Location: unfortunately it's easy to miss but it's on the corner of Marengo St and Mark St., (if you pass the Mc Donald's then you've passed it). Overall: Very glad I stopped in to try this place. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm on that site of town. It's close enough to LAC+USC...
