Post operation: My mom dropped me off and came in. I got undressed and we had a talk about the procedure and meds, then we took before pics, and then outlined the areas of my body we would work on. 4 people total worked on me. It was a training as well. Then I took the meds. Then, we went into the procedure room, and then we got started on the surgery. The process was numbing my full abs and back first which was painful, I felt poking but with their support there I was fine. They’ve done this many times before, I was aware. Beauty is pain. Not as painful if I wasn’t on the local anesthesia, then after numbing, btw, being on the surgery table, you’ll be covered with paper like, then after the numbing, they will get started which is a process of poking holes in certain areas to remove the fat, and it will be a little painful, you’ll feel it sometimes and at times you won’t. They will do this for hours if it’s your full abs and back. If you want to look nice, you’ll understand. When I was done, they put the undergarment on me, also I had to pee during the surgery and I had to pee in a bucket like, while on the table which was fine. Overall 5 star experience! Felt like someone important in Beverly Hills! I know how much this would had cost. Usually females or males travel outside of Cali if they want a cheaper doctor but I’m happy that I didn’t have to do that and got to go right up the freeway to this lovely place! I am truly appreciative of this experience!

Consult: I just got here. They are offering a $500-$750 deal for “models” to try a néw liposuction treatment, and I am considering it. I’m sitting in the waiting room. So far, customer service is 5 stars, very friendly, and polite, parking is 2 hours free on the st near by, or underground parking costs, umm, the elevator wasn’t working but that’s fine the side door was open to walk up the stairs, it’s right next to the gas station, and as I see there is more than 4 people sitting here waiting in the waiting room so they do have customers waiting, I’m here at 2:50pm and my consult is at 3:15pm, let’s see what the doc will say. They said I’m a good candidate for the lipo (full abs/love handles), let’s see what they can do for me. If it’s all lights go, I’ll get the procedure done this upcoming Saturday. 8am-4pm. Then I’ll be on bed rest for 2 weeks then back to working out with my trainer. Thank God I don’t plan on having children till my mid or late 30s. Being 29, I’m in my prime, so I have to enjoy it and build my life, relationships, and career up before I settle and have kids and marriage. No rush. It’s clean in here otherwise. The bathroom was fine, just needed some updating. That’s all really.

So after getting my consult I 100% felt comfortable. I’m going to go ahead and get because they are nice and noticed I wrote a nice review. Wow. So cool. I’m dying to see how this will all turn out. I first learned about Dr. Assassa earlier this year. I Googled "non-surgical liposuction Los Angeles" and Beverly Hills Aesthetics popped up. Hardly the ideal way to find someone to perform such an important procedure, but I didn't know anyone from whom I could solicit such a recommendation. Despite that, I decided to contact his office and schedule a consultation to get more information. His receptionist, Emily, allayed my concerns from the first when I asked the simple questions "Do you like him? Would you entrust your mom to him?" Her response, "Absolutely! He's a really nice man and he does really great work." It was important to me that my procedure be performed by someone who was both "approachable" and skilled. I find both to be important when communicating about my physical well-being. All the talent in the world won't guarantee success if there isn't clear communication between the patient's desires/goals and the doctor's expectations of what he can deliver.

I booked a date and several weeks later arrived for the procedure. The all-important conversations between myself, Dr. Assassa, and his amazing assistant Yulana both pre- and post-procedure were very important. Everything they told me to expect, happened. There were no surprises. If Yulana recommends a relaxation agent, TAKE IT! It definitely helped to reduce my apprehensions. I was very bruised and swollen afterward but the healing proceeded just like they said it would. Post-procedure they did not write me off as someone who had "paid in full" and was no longer a concern to them. I have been warmly welcomed back monthly for peel treatments to help minimize the scaring. Despite the extra time and expense these additional services incur they are truly concerned that I was happy in the months and years to come. They exemplify the words "caring professionals".

I first have to say , I regret giving my money away to this Doctor. I went to Dr. Assassa to get liposuction on my belly ,love handles ,back and lower back areas. I specifically asked Dr. Assassa , if this will help and get rid of loose skin in my stomach area and he said yes. According to him , after the lipo procedure the skin will retract it self and my skin will be tight . I also asked if I needed a tummy tuck and his reponse was NO I didn't need one. The date of my surgery came and when he was drawing the areas of concern he said , YOU ARE GOING TO NEED A TUMMY TUCK ......I was so surprised he said that to me the same day of surgery. Unfortunately, Stupid me!! I went along with what he did. The saggy skin remained , he only removed less then 2 litters when he said it would be around 4. The moral of my story is Dr. Assassa is not the right person to go with, specially not telling the truth to his patients specially knowing I need a tummy tuck and not lipo. I spent around 7k , money I could have paid for the tummy tuck I needed. I finally got what I needed which is a circumferential tummy tuck and lower body lift . I spent $10,500 with a board certify plastic surgeon in TJ 06/2018 , of course I did my homework this time around and chose the right doctor.
