CVS — Local services in Los Angeles

Yesterday at 5pm, I went into CVS (303 S. La Brea) for my scheduled 2nd vaccine appointment. I however was denied my vaccine dose, as I forgot my vaccine card. I explained to the pharmacist working that I had forgotten my card - but had my drivers license and a photo of the card. She however, tole me that ‘without my card my vaccine was not possible’, she also told me that they ‘do not reprint cards.’ I then asked to be rescheduled for the following day /time.

Today, I went my rescheduled appointment (brought my card this time), yet again was unable to get my 2nd vaccine, as the she did not reschedule me, moreover CVS told me that they had given away all of their extra doses for the day - which included my dose from my previous appointment. I explained my experience to the pharmacist working, her response was ‘that she did not know why I had been denied the day before - as reprinting cards or documents is easily done.’

Overall this experience was frustrating, time consuming, but really it's deeply concerning and unethical, as denying someone a vaccine could cost a person their life! Moreover, if this pharmacist is denying people from vaccines, what other false information is she providing people? For anyone else who has an issue like this, please know that your vaccine card is re-printable, losing your card or forgetting it at home, should NOT be the reason that you do not get...

Worst pharmacy ever do not go !! Beware of short black hair rude lady that does not even wear pharmacist clothes !!!!doesn’t care about you your health or even doing the right thing just wants to be nasty rude and completely unprofessional!!! I went in for a over the counter inhaler that I called and asked if I could buy and then I made sure they had it when I asked to purchase the inhaler she said I need a doctors prescription where it is not a prescription needed medicine and I was coming for in time of need now WALGREENS IS DELIVERING ME THE INHALER AS WE SPEAK where cvs this one lied to me about be able to get it !!! Just because your having a bad day or something doesn’t mean to take it out on others I will never be doing my pharmacy stuff with them ever and I will tell everyone not to go here...

I was trying to use a coupon that has consistently worked for me and was told I needed to contact so many different people to figure out the issue for them...They ran me in circles with my doctor, insurance AND prescription provider over a prescription that I've picked up regularly without trouble for about 7 years back home. It took me finally sitting down and not leaving until I got a real answer for them to FINALLY tell me that CVS doesn't accept my coupon anymore. I'm so frustrated that my time was wasted for over a month when they could have looked into that on initial inquiry. I transferred my prescription immediately and had it filled WITH my coupon coverage, no trouble, within about 5 hours at another pharmacy. Would NOT recommend wasting...
