Have you ever decided to start something new and there’s an overwhelming amount of options out there so you just randomly pick something and it ends up being the best decision of your life? Well this has been my experience with CrossFit Hollywood! My journey began in February and it has been nothing short of amazing. From day one, I was met with kindness and an eagerness to help me achieve my fitness goals by coach Johanna. She made me feel welcomed and at ease taking on such an intimidating fitness journey. From there, it’s only gotten better. From the coaches to my fellow fitness mates, I’ve felt nothing but positive vibes and support. The way that everyone cheers you on and roots for your success makes coming to class daily worth it. I love how the classes challenge me and after only 3 months, I truly feel like I’ve found my people! If you’re on the fence about which CrossFit family to join, allow me to make the decision for you....
Read moreCrossfit has been the only workout I've tried that helps you get fit fast if paired with a good diet. I'm the laziest person ever. Super weak and drinks too much wine. Before Crossfit Hollywood, I've tried practically eveything and hated it: Kickboxing, krav maga, muy thai, capoeira, haitian dance, yoga, pilates, spinning, treadmill...you name it. To be honest, I didn't know what the heck I was signing up for when I joined CFHW. I had just moved to LA and across the street from CFHW and decided to give it a try. The best thing about it is accomplishing things like being able to do an actual push-up or pull-up for the first time at the age of 35. The staff are knowledgeable, motivating, kind, super friendly, down to earth and so much fun. What are you waiting for? Get your a** off the internet and...

I also tried clubs (LA Fitness), but found it hard to train by myself, be it, the lack of motivation. Crossfit changed all this, I will now run my first marathon on March 18th, and I now really enjoy exercising and running. The trainers teach you the proper form, to prevent injury; they also try to help each member get the most out of the workout as possible. The gym is relatively small, but you will be surprised on how much can be done with the right routine and proper set-up. If you are looking for a change in your health, try...
