This little pizza pop up is just as good as everyone says. We arrived around 7:15 and there were just a few people around, far less than I thought would be there at that time. However we walked right up (parked on the left side of the parking lot) and placed our order.
The staff is super friendly and they were very welcoming. The food comes out after maybe 5 min or so. The pizza itself cooks fast, but the oven is not big enough to fit more than 2-3 pizzas in it so I can see how the line can grow to be long.
I ordered a regular pizza with pepperoni and jalapeƱos and a pepperoni pizza with no cheese. We ordered and walked into the liquor store on the same parking lot and got a few drinks to have outside with our pizza. By the time we came out the pizzas were coming out.
The pizza was really good. For a $10 base pizza and $1 each topping after that its worth the price paid. The dough is really tasty with just enough crisp on the outside and doughy softness on the inside.
I'd recommend coming here to give this place a try if you are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was really looking forward to this one. I saw it on the internet and heard people talk about it. Looking at the picture, I saw the pizzas were neapolitan style, which got me excited to try. Unfortunately, the real taste test was underwhelming. The margherita they have is good-looking, no doubt, you can post it and it'll look good. But the dough is very chewy and kind of on the tough-hard side. The sauce and mozzarella flavors are okay. The best thing about it is their price. And for $13, I don't mind eating something like that again.
It's one of the best tasting pizzas for $13 out there, but if you hold it to the standard of the neapolitan margherita, then this one is a pass.
I know I'm being snobby here, but if you advertise your margherita to look like the real one, you should expect customers to hold your pizzas to the standards of neapolitan style pizza.
Service was okay. They were nice, but I almost walked away with 1 pizza less than I ordered. Because they thought I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a delicious thin crust pizza with your choice of Fresh ingredients. One size at $10 for Cheese only and $1each for most additional toppings. We tried the Pepperoni Pizza, the Tomatoes with Basil Pizza, and made our own with lots of Veggies. They were all delicious. My 9yr. old picky eater loved her pepperoni pizza, but refused to eat the slightly charred crust. I loved the crust. They set up outside in a Parking lot under a Canopy. We went on a Thursday at 6pm. There was parking in their lot. They have 2 foldable tables with 7 chairs in each table set up under a canopy. I didn't wait long for my order. They have sodas and water for $1 and $2. The staff was very friendly. I had to drive about an hour on the 5 South at 5pm to get there at about 6pm. It was well worth the grueling drive. Me, my 3 kids and husband came home happy. We wish Elio the Best and hope he can open another Pizza Spot CLOSER to us here in...
