Stacy makes my whole experience at Home Goods absolutely perfect. I shop here 1-2x a week (I own a spa practice that consistently needs new towels, candles, and beyond). This particular location constantly gets new, premium inventory, and I rarely have trouble finding luxury soy/coconut candles at amazing prices, along with authentic cotton towels, sheets, and a range of other things I need.
Having worked in customer service since I was a teen, I always notice exceptional customer service, and though the entire staff is lovely and always remembers my name, I consistently see Stacy helping people and going above and beyond for challenging customers and requests with great patience, and she manages to have the perfect balance of warmth and professionalism. She's helped me find an item I could not several times, and she's very sincere in her feedback and help.
I recommend visiting this store when they first open to get easy parking and a less intimidating line at check out. They also have a secure restrooms for customers which I appreciate, because they are always clean. Because this store gets inventory seemingly every day, there is no bad day to go.
I am constantly finding dining wear made in Portugal, along with premium brands like La Creuset. The candle selection almost always has premium local brands that use soy, coconut, and other clean waxes, along with some premium European brands like Diptyque at fabulous prices.
I also recommend getting the TJX credit card, I wind up getting so many points towards purchases and special offers all the time. Mine has no annual fee as well, so there's truly no downside.
Thank you Stacy, and the rest of this...
Read moreAbsolutely heinous customer service! I attempted to come to this Home Goods today at 10:20am (almost an hour after opening - I even checked their Google listing before leaving my house to make sure of their hours), but when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said they were doing inventory and would be "opening later today" (no time was listed).
I called the store and they said they would be open in about an hour, so I killed some time and came back (over) an hour later at 11:30am. They were still not open and there was a group of 10-15 people outside waiting.
One person waiting said they called 15 minutes previously and were told they would be open in 10 minutes. About 10 minutes later another woman called and she was told 20 more minutes.
I decided to go into another store and called about 10 minutes after this to get an update, and was told "that they have no idea when they will be opening". I explained that there were many people outside waiting for them to open, and asked if they could go out and give them that update (I was at a different store at this point) - she said that there was no update to give, even though about 10 minutes before they were telling customers they would be open in 20 minutes.
I told her if they didn't know when they would be opening, they should let the people waiting know, and she said, in an extremely rude and condescending tone, "Well thank you so much for that feedback" and hung up on me.
Will not be returning to this location...
Read moreFor fellow candle enthusiasts, the scented candle selection is impressive, mostly displayed along the checkout line shelves. I stumbled upon a Sand + Fog candle at a much lower price than their website.
I've been a resident of Los Angeles since 2015, and I must admit, this was my first visit to Home Goods. I dropped by with a specific mission - to snag some scented candles without breaking the bank, and I am happy to report that my mission was accomplished!
