First reason for rating is because I received an email with 15% off for back to school shopping. I literally went to purchase shoes for my daughter's back to school and at the register the cashier said the coupon doesn't apply to anything name brand items. The shoes were basic sketchers. That is false advertising but since I was already there I bought them, although it's not very considerate to your customers to advertise something only to bring us into the store to waste our time or pay full price. Second reason, was stock, I also went in to purchase a backpack for me that I saw was in store online and it wasn't. And lastly, and most importantly, the associate that I encountered at check out was so rude. I asked about the discount, and her attitude was like "I don't know what to tell you, you want to buybit or not?" Also asked if there was anywhere else in the store where I could check for adult backpacks since online it said it was in stocks at this particular location, again no help she pointed at backpacks by check-out, which I can obviously see and not what I'm referring to, but again the attitude was horrible. And then when we paid she threw the box of shoes in the bag and put the receipt on the counter, and didn't say anything. I felt so disrespected and I had to just grab my stuff and walk out. I wish I would have told her something in regards to her not having customer service etiquette or manners for that matter, but at the moment all I thought was to walk out thinking I'll never come to this location again and write a...
Read moreAs we all go thru changes in this lifetime, we are all having to accept the changes in our everyday life. With that said, I just feel we should all follow the rules that are implemented. As, I waked around shopping today, I noticed two separate times someone not wearing a mask inside the store. If you are implementing a notice on the front door of your store “a mask is mandatory to enter store” then your staff should follow that by having to tell customers to wear one. Everyone else is wearing a mask so what makes this two men special for not having to wear one.
The second thing I have to mention is the returning/exchanging department, I just had to exchange and return two things and because she made a mistake by just doing a return. I had to stand in a different line to check out because she couldn’t ring me up. Not to mentioned I was in line for the exchange and return for about 20 minutes. Also, you wear a mask and gloves and you sanitize your gloves with antibacterial but you don’t want to touch the clothes or anything else. You expect me to look for the tags on the clothes so you can scan them because you don’t want to touch them. You wearing gloves why not help me so the line can move along. ...
Read moreOn November 8, 2014 I purchased a product at the Moorpark store without trying it on. When I got home later that day to try it on, I realized it was the wrong size. I immediately went to my neighborhood store, which is in Northridge to attmept an even exhange. Unfortunately, the Northridge store did not have the product. I spoke to a store manager, Robert Nagy, who was about the most helpful, brilliant, and insightful retail employee/manager I have ever encountered. He suggested that I order the correct product via mail order (for which he located the correct product number, then called the Mail Order warehouse, confirmed that they had the correct product in stock, and then placed the order for me - then handed me the phone to complete the order with the sales rep). He did all of the above while simultaneously helping two other customers and a Kohl's sales associate. Every person he helped was successfully handled and happy with the net result. Mr. Robert Nagy is an amazing human being a true asset to Kohls. Kohls is lucky to have him. I hope that Kohl's corporate headquarters reviews these reviews and Mr. Nagy is properly recognized for his...
