In the age of over-information…life has become nothing more than a constant feed from the moment you wake up and log on to LIFE. This fact has put more emphasis on a business providing a unique memorable experience rather than just the latest and greatest product. Tangible things come and go but memories last forever. Cohiba du Cuba Cigar Lounge provides precisely that…
Its location is easy to miss as it is wedged into the back alley of a shopping center. However, once the door opens and you walk into the quaint, clean and upscale looking indoor lounge/humidor area you will know that you have truly arrived. The staff is helpful and allows you to browse without being “hawked”. I hate that. After my cigar selection is made I was given a glimpse at the rear courtyard area where all the magic happens! It is truly like a sanctuary…an escape from the loud volume of hustle and bustle just feet away. It’s undeniable.
Vintage tunes blare at just the right volume providing the soundtrack for the scenery with string lights..traditional style seating and a water cascade. The wall has the most incredible mural painted of “Jack” (see photo) that you can spend hours examining as you exhale the stresses of the day. Just grab a drink and sit and forget about it all…
This establishment is the perfect backdrop for events or simple solitude depending on the day and how you feel. I am told you never know what to expect at Cohiba du Cuba…you may walk in and find them grilling up some steaks or fish out back with. I far girls catering to your every whim when you arrive. I love these type of surprises. At any rate…if you are in the area and looking for a total sensory experience rather than just some products..Pay this place a visit. It is “Real Approved” :)

Read moreNot sure what was going on in here the day I visited. There was clearly a novice on duty. He admitted that he was not the owner and went on to state that they carried the Drew Estates line. He then proceeded to point me in the direction of the Montecristos on display. Needless to say, no Drew Estates cigars in stock this day. Not much of a selection overall but I settled on a Sinistro. Was at the counter about to pay for my stick and the fellow on duty told me there was a $50 cork fee for outside booze. Would have just preferred him saying no outside booze permitted. Cancelled the transaction and left, headed over to "Brandon's Place". Moral of the story - We need to be very mindful of the folks who end up being the face(s) of...
Read moreI expected more from the lounge. They do not have the basic go to cigars at all. They have cigars that no one has heard of, they want to be "different" from other shops according to them. Got recommended a brand and it was horrible. I am not a picky guy when it comes to cigars but damn what a horrible selection. Also, cigars were dry. At least the drinks were wet.
Update: The ownership has changed and wow what a improvement, Abo was a amazing help and grigor has done amazing changes i can't believe the difference. Must come...
