I finally had the opportunity to come to this Silverlake Ramen location. My wife and I already been to the Porter Ranch location and Mission Hills already. I tried to come here before but when I walked inside, they told me that they officially open in 2 days. So fast forward to now I finally had a chance to come today during lunch to eat some ramen. I parked in the parking structure where this restaurant is at and it's still free parking. I got seated right away when I walked in since they weren't busy. A worker handed me the menu and I already knew what I wanted. I got the Shoyu on Fire with chicken and asked for the spice level to be at spicy. It didn't take long for my ramen to come out like within maybe 5 minutes. My ramen was great, the noodles were not overcooked and the spice level was perfect. It's really hard to tell if they give you enough ramen noodles but I thought the portion I got was good. The inside dining if this place isn't that big but they also have outdoor dining too. The customer service was welcoming and great when I came today...
Read moreThis place is BUSY. It was when I came in and it never slowed down. All the employees must sleep well at night because they were all working so hard and never slowed down, they were all extremely kind and on top of it even when diners were rude to them. It was so busy, there were always people and delivery drivers steadily coming in and they genuinely ran out of plates they’re serving so much and so quickly. I didn’t even notice the delay, food kept flying out of the kitchen. The only thing I noticed was that the pass was a little dirty due to all the food flying. But all the employees were wearing gloves and very cleanly! I got the combo of classic chicken ramen and a pork bun and a lemonade. My pork bun was perfect! My ramen was VERY HOT once it cooled down it was very delicious. Not as good as Jinya but still good and I would come back. The pieces of chicken in my ramen were much smaller than I anticipated but they were tasty. The employees of this Silverlake Ramen deserve medals,...

We were seated and left unattended for quite some time. Another group eventually came in, and to our disappointment they were serviced before us. As we were about to leave, a server finally made his way to us to get our drink and food order. We were never checked on after our food was ordered. I ordered lemonade and water and the water never made it.
We just wanted to have a warm bowl of ramen at a place that we once enjoyed before my daughter left for her active duty orders tomorrow morning; and it was just disappointing that this was the dinner experience we have as a memory. Thankfully, we immediately were able to replace this experience with a more pleasant one at a local...
