My sister and I took our 10 and 11 year old nieces to the salon today. We wanted 2 Manis for the girls and mani pedis with full sets for ourselves. We were told the Manis were $14 and the mani pedis were $30. I got designs and so did my nieces. We were never told about design fees being additional but as a woman who enjoys the salon I already knew designs were on average $5- $8. They never once asked permission to put a design on the little girls nails. One girl got little hearts on her ring fingers for $5. The other girl wanted simple polka dots. She got charged $12. $12 for polka dots without guardian permission. They also didn't charge $30 for mani pedi. They charged our nails and toes separate at $27 for the full set and $19 for the pedi. They then charged $5 for white tips and $8 for very simple designs on 2 fingers. Plus $15 for a simple design on my toes. It was over $200 for 4 people, 2 of which were kids who only got regular manicures. They are money hungry and half-ass their jobs. My pedicure had no massage and the hot towel was so hot that it burned me. My sister got a cut on her finger from them being reckless. Me calling and telling you i have service dogs. Is like a person calling to make appointment and having to clear with you if can bring their child. I offered to show you documents you said NO. I called and was told fills $ 14.00. I went in with my (service) dogs , right away he said no dogs... i said they are my service dogs. He said ok i showed my documents and he said next time NO DOGS. I replied ok they (dogs stayed next to me as they should. 25 minutes later... sat down with a manicurist she said $18.00. The man there was quick... he said " oh we just had price increase 1,2,2018 I forgot.. yet i CALLED 1st... Huuuum. Lynn did a good job though. Lying about service animal is a federal offense. First time coming in, and I can’t believe I just payed $116 for a full set and a pedicure, and I didn’t even get any designs. They were just simple nails. I had asked for clear glitter polish and instead the lady when ahead and put on a regular glitter all over my nail which I didn’t want at all, her respons was “its okay my friend” They charged me $70 just for the nails + $15 for nail polish it’s ridiculous. I understand the $23 for pedicure, but they charge me $8 for French tip. I understand the situation that we are in but come on don’t take advantage of people. Never again am...
