Cute little place right off the street with outside seating woohoo! Ordered the Beef Shawarma pita combo and a side of Falafel and a yogurt drink to wash it all down. Shawarma is a decent size, I added some fries in it. It tasted really good but a little too salty on the meat. The fries were cooked well but could have used some salt. The falafels were interesting, I don't really understand how they cook them but the texture is so light and crunchy but I'm not a fan of the flavor. The girl at the counter was nice and they have a small parking lot

Granada Hills is fortunate to have original, affordable, fresh, delicious Mediterranean food so conveniently available. Very nice service, fresh ingredients and spices, and very generous portions give Crazy Falafel a 5+ with me. I haven't tried their Mexican menu yet but it looks good. See for yourself. I highly recommend Crazy Falafel!

This 3-star rating is solely for the customer service received. The food is 5-star worthy.

I called in my order and a young woman answered. She didn't greet me or say hello. She asked what I'd like to order, I gave her my order. She read the order back to me, and gave me my total.

I said thank you; she hung up. No thank you, nothing. Just the click of the phone.

I waited 15 minutes, walked into the store and picked up my order.

A young woman walked toward the register, I presume it was the same woman on the phone because she did not greet me.

She asked can I help you, I responded, "I'm here for my phone order." She asked for my name. I provided it to her. I gave her my credit card. She took it, ran it through the card machine, pressed a few numbers, ripped away the white receipt paper, merged it with my card and handed it back to me.

She said nothing the entire time, turned toward the flat area where a brown bag lay, grabbed it, turned back around toward to me, handed me the bag and motioned to an area where the condiments and utensils sit.

"Forks are over there." She said.

And that was that. No thank you. No have a good day. No customer service, nothing.

I've ordered food at CF several times, and never received service as poor as this time around.

My hope with this review is that the owner - who after seeing him a few times in the store, berate his employees - will address this issue with his front line employees.

Wishful...

This restaurant is the perfect example of how location is important but food, and service are still what matters when it comes to building a succesful business. Crazy Falafel came to replace the old mexican restaurant in our neighborhood which after so many years of living in the area I never visited, old, dark, empty restaurant. Crazy Falafel opened up recently and to tell you the truth I had not visited before because it always looked very busy. Well Im glad I finally did stop by, the service was superb, the lady at the counter was very attentive, the cooks looked energetic and happy, the food came out promptly and with beautiful presentation. The lule was charred to perfection and yet moist inside, the chicken kabob was tender and savory, the beef kabob was outstanding, no knife needed. The garlic sauce and hummus had the right balance of creamyness and silky greatness. I give this place two thumbs. My only regret was not tipping the guys enough but rest assure Im coming back for more and most definately will make up for my rudeness... 😀 Kuddos to...

I’ve only gotten the $1 for 10 pieces appetizer twice. It was okay, nothing crazy to write home about. My issue is with the service etiquette. The first time was a young lady who looked like she didn’t want to work there. She looked miserable. I think I know why because the second was a man asking me if and why I’m vegetarian because he noticed I only picked items without meat. I told him why and he proceeded to chuckle at me. Then he asks me if I want anything else and I think about it and he says “you have one minute”. Okay, thanks, I’ve been standing here for 3-5 seconds to decide but thank you for letting me know there’s a timer. Just crap experience all around and I’d rather go somewhere else where I’m not chuckled at for my dietary choices and being told a timer number to order a second time after...
