What a terrible experience!!! Was up to getting out to a quiet bite on a Sunday afternoon. Been here many times over the years. We sat at the bar and ordered. And as I suspected, it was quiet, there was only two patrons in the place. Upon our food arriving, one of the plates was sitting on top of their plastic menu, and while I was in mid dip of taking my FIRST bite, the older waitress (there were only two on shift and I don’t want the wrong one attached to this horrible behavior) came up and said excuse me I need to take that menu away right now. Almost as if worried that soy sauce was gonna get on the laminated menu. So I’m now holding up my arm, elbow awkwardly out so she could navigate over me to move three things to get to the menu underneath. I was literally in shock that she didn’t even let me take my bite, it was so unnecessary and bizarre. I was not like there was a packed house and they were short on menu’s, or it was some white embossed leather menu the was in jeopardy of getting stained. It was one of many plastic laminated menus. She then proceeded to be just a nuisance. She propped herself up seats away from us speaking very loudly and suddenly not in english to the sushi chef while shooting me dirty looks and laughing. It was clear she was finding enjoyment from trying to ruin the experience of paying customers. I considered she might be the owner, and I wanted to be clear before leaving this review because if she were the owner, she wouldn’t really care if this review was made based off of that behavior. So I asked our waitress to come over (who was a sweet girl with long hair and a ponytail), I wanted to ask her if the older lady was the owner and she confirmed that she was not. I proceeded to our waitress why I was asking, as that I was going to leave a review. I just wanted to make sure our waitress didn’t get in trouble for behavior that she didn’t do. Upon the rude older waitress, seeing me talk to our waitress, she immediately wanted to know what we were asking our waitress and pulled our waitress away to inquire, it was evident our waitress only spoke English. Once our waitress informed her that I was going to leave a Yelp and Google review the rude waitress instantly kept her distance. Sadly the damage was done and ruined the experience. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve EVER had dining, and I’ve been out a lot! I understand people have bad days, but this was actually deliberate disgusting behavior. I don’t know if the owners of this restaurant care but if they do, they should know how employees act and represent their establishment. I could not get the name of the older lady, so I am uploading two photos of us being here, and receipt to show the time and the date stamp so Yelp and Google won’t have to take this down and the owners may confirm the older female employee that was staffed on this date at this time. In this day and age with so many peoples funds being tight, and lives being busy, escaping for a nice dining experience should not be met with terrible customer service. Good customer service and experience should be paramount. We will never go back there again and will definitely share this experience as well. Bad employees, ruin good businesses.

3 vegetarians descended on Sushi Raw for our first experience there which was just fine. We had the crispy dumplings which were tasty, the mushroom ramen soup which had a very nice mushroom savory flavor to it, and veggie rolls, which tasted okay, but which were a little loosely rolled and hard to pick up without them falling apart. (The veggie roll also had lettuce in it which didn’t seem necessary and probably affected the physical integrity of the roll.) I also had a glass of plum wine which was super sweet. The person who greeted us when we walked in wasn’t particularly friendly on the Friday evening that we showed up, though we were seated fairly quickly and the serving staff took good care of us. We also had edamame which tasted exactly as it should. This wasn’t our favorite sushi experience ever, but we had plenty to eat and it did the job in a fairly nice setting.

I just ate at SUSHIRAW for the first time today. The food was acceptable, but the service was incredibly slow. I would also say that while the food *tasted* good, I don't think our sushi rolls were particularly well made. Two of the rolls seemed to have been cobbled together from spare pieces of maguro. Maybe it was just an off night. Looking forward to visiting again in hopes of updating this review with more stars.

The worst place I have ever been. Horrible service, and food was ok at best. I had three children with me, hands full with popcorn, jackets and knick-knacks after movies. The server didn't offer to help. We were given a table in the back, right next to the service/kitchen area and the restroom hall. The server missed one of the items we ordered, then argued with me it was my fault and I had not ordered that item. He never checked on us to see if we needed anything. He forgot to bring our drinks (water and juice), and I had to ask twice before he'd get them, and that's with only two other tables busy in the whole house. I would let it all slide, if it weren't for the attitude. My 4-year-old daughter and her friend got into the hallway behind our table, and she accidentally broke a ceramic mug that was on some wall stand there (??.) I know, I know, 4-year-olds are supposed to sit glued to their chairs and not move, ever... We apologized several times, and my daughter got upset with what she had done, but it wasn't enough. The hostess told her to "go sit on your chair" rather rudely, and my daughter started crying. It was supposed to be a fun day for her. Instead, she was in tears for good ten minutes. If you want attitude, rudeness, and sour faces, Sushi Raw is just the...

Not really impressed at all. Glad we didn’t come here starving because not only was the service less than on par, but also, no one really had a care in the world about the lack of service. We ordered the kids meals right away that came out with the waters, we had a roll as well, however no service to follow. I waived down a waitress to ask for a kids lemonade ... and also 10 minutes later again to remind them for the lemonade and order a bottle of Saki. So, then, a few minutes later, another waitress walked by and asked if we had ordered our saki, and what kind. We let here know the Nigori, and that it was still not here. Another 5 minutes passed and we realized they might be trying to source the lemonade and saki, because it must be al out. Really, all of this wouldn’t matter at all, if it was followed with customer service and genuine desire to make us feel like we mattered as customers. Thankfully they aren’t the only sushi joint in town. Also, asked to speak to a manager to relay our experience and maybe support them in making it a better experience next time, however the owner had no problem avoiding us, and lying straight to us that there was no...
