I like the new location. My first experience was at their old location I had great service.

Maybe new people this time. I was recommended to try again and I saw they had some jelly pedicure special. I’m pregnant and my legs have been killing me not to mention I’ve been feel icky with my toes and nails not done. I arrived young lady at the front was nice. They charge before the service first time I’ve been to a nail salon and they do that found it odd. Makes sense now.

At first the two ladies that I was placed with for service were nice. That quickly changed for the lady that did my toes. She seemed bothered by me for not picking any of the colors she was suggesting to me that weren’t what I showed her and even more bothered when other clients walked in, I felt like a bother so I settled and hated the color not to mention the painted toes looked like I asked a kid to do it, she rushed it to then go assist the clients that had walked in. I asked how much to change the color I really don’t like it. They said $25 mind you this was regular nail polish. Now moving on to my hands, I showed a picture again but said instead of a white French tip I want blue. She was kind and patient with me, again it seemed like there was just lack of experience. They were gel nails I wanted and just shape my nails not shorter, she filed down a lot and overall wasn’t what expected. Towards the end I over heard them offer the other clients beverages, I didn’t get offered that and when the woman doing my hands saw me look up when I heard them she offered me water I accepted and was handed a paper kids cup of lukewarm water. All this to say that I left and broke down crying because a day of me treating myself to what was suppose to be a great way to feel good about myself left me angry, disappointed and made me cry. On top of all that I still gave an undeserved tip to the toe lady and a tip to the inexperienced nail lady. I felt uncared for and robbed. For the price spent that was the worst service I had ever received. It’s been a week now. Had I wrote this the day of I’m not sure I would have wrote this as kindly. I’ll post pics for reference. DO NOT GO HERE. The nail tech cut so deeply into my cuticles to the point that I have a long open and inflamed cut on my big toe’s cuticle. It hurts to walk and I have to go to the urgent care now to make sure it’s not infected. She was careless and rough and made five of my fingernail cuticles actually bleed during the appointment and blamed it on me for having “sensitive skin.” I’ve gotten my nails done hundreds of time and this is the first time an incompetent tech actually CUT into my skin and made me bleed like this. On top of that the polish on my nails is always chipping off the very next day. This was such a huge disappointment and I’m honestly disgusted. I wish I had gotten the name of this tech because she is clearly the problem. The mani/pedis of the person I went with came out amazing and was well taken care of by the tech he was paired with. I’ve been getting my nails done at Politur since 2018 and I have to say it’s hands down the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. May has always done an excellent job at doing my nails, and her creativity and attention to detail make it at unique experience every time, I just go in and tell her my idea and she always comes up with something pretty 🤩 Cindy and the rest of the staff are always friendly, offering drinks and talking to customers, its my self care time and I feel not only pampered getting my nails done but also in community with amazing people. And when it comes to the actual quality of nails it’s always the best, my nails before would never last at all, one time in another salon someone told me the gel polish doesn’t work for me because my nails are the problem, I never had that problem once I started going to Politur, everything is always clean and sanitized and they use the best nail...
