Avoid Rolling Greens – Disappointing Service & Unfair Policies

I rarely leave public warnings, but after my experience at Rolling Greens, I feel compelled to alert other shoppers. I was forced to accept store credit for a sizable purchase despite clearly stating I was only holding items temporarily to see if they would work—never was I told this policy before paying, nor was there any visible signage. When I tried to resolve things, communication was slow and unhelpful, and the only mention of their strict return policy came later through an email buried in unrelated correspondence.

Shopping in-store is equally unpleasant. Most staff seem uninterested in helping, often appearing busy or disappearing to the back. Asking questions feels like an imposition, as if you’re inconveniencing them. The entire vibe is anything but welcoming, and genuine customer service is basically nonexistent.

Went into rolling greens in studio city 3 times now to enquire about their design service. We left our number the first time and were told someone would get back to us. We then checked in a week later as we didn’t receive a call and the lady told us she was going to make a note and get back to us, nothing. Finally a third attempt. At this point we’ve gone elsewhere. I bought a Philodendron Narrow, which looked well and was reasonably priced. They gave it to me wrapped in a brown paper sleeve, kind of like a bouquet, for transport. When I got home I saw there was a bunch of mealybugs that had come out of hiding. Mealybugs are super hard to erradicate and I wouldn’t want them spreading to the rest of my collection.
