This is an extremely awesome restaurant that has high-quality ingredients for everything they make. This is where your taste buds will make you drool for more. I aimed to spend $300 dollars for this experience so I could really define this awesome establishment. They do not pride themselves for their ambience. They pride themselves with TASTE, quality, and the ability to master each serving time and time again. This is where you go for the very best Sushi and beverages of the Japanese culture. Although this may be outside the price reach of fast food experience, this is no doubt a place to come eat with a LAX layover. Store your bags at your hotel and grab a LFYT TO THIS restaurant anytime after 1:00 pm, and you will experience the real culture of Japanese cuisine. Without a doubt, this restaurant needs to expand 4 times over. But if you like Sushi, the KANPAI JAPANESE SUSHI is where you want to invest your taste buds. This is more elite pricing meals, so I would say this is where you take your date and spend some quality time over a meal. Expect to pay $12-$60 per person for the average meal. Don't forget to order their famous warm SAKE. It keeps the evening moving along, and laughter is the ambiance. When you want her to feel special, this is a place where you can do that with dinner. Quality time with quality service and food makes for a fantastic ending to a...
Read moreNot your average sushi spot in my opinion. Seems like a popular destination for many in a busy sector of LA near LAX. Can't say I have tried the in restaurant dining experience but I can surely attest to their to go experience. As sushi lovers a friend of ours was raving about this place & it's hand roll platter for such a great price. I can surely appreciate a sushi place with great tasting fish & really friendly price! The hand roll platter is a secret hidden gem for LA sushi goers. As a take home option this platter has the right portions for several people to enjoy all while enjoying the experience of rolling your own hand rolls.
For $25 bucks we got to eat I'd say 10-12 hand rolls with sizable portions. They give you more than enough rice, seaweed paper, fish of all sorts, shrimp, veggies, ginger & wasabi! Ordered some gyoza & a miso soup as well to complete our Japanese dinner experience.
I wish they would add the special menu to their yelp order platform bc it would be easy to enjoy my Apple Card perks with Apple Pay but not a bad order experience over the phone. Food was ready for pickup within 30 mins of placing order & pickup was easy & convenient as they were heading into their dinner rush.
We are definitely going to give this place another visit thanks to the great hand roll...
Read moreWorst customer experience I ever had here at the restaurant. I came for lunch at work with my co workers and team. The server was super rude and ignored us we had to ask him for menus and he only gave us two (we are a party of 6). We wanted to split the check two ways and he said we are unable to do that so we asked if we could split the table and he said. And I quote (no and if you don’t like it you can leave) we were immediately taken back by this and told him if we can speak to his supervisor who he claimed was unavailable. I asked for new server and t explained to him it was the rude the way he was talking to us. His response was “yeah so I’ll get you a new server. I am completely unaware what his problem was but I assume he must have some issue with my party in particular. He seemed very active with all the other customers and nice. I hate to be the person claiming racism but we were the only table with different races and we were the the only ones treated this way. Servers name was (boy) or (boy) I believ. Next server was nice he catered to us and informed us two cards or half cash and half card would be fine. Will absolutely never come back and inform everyone to not...
