My 89 year old mother saw Dr. Sand for the first time as a new patient yesterday. I don't know how to express my gratitude to Dr. Sand for the extreme amount of genuine care and attention to details that she provided my mom for her eye problems. I have never ever seen a physician more caring, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive to details as Dr. Sand. My mother has seen multiple ophthalmologists for her eye problem in the last year and a half, and none of them, I repeat none of them, was able to diagnose her condition correctly and find a solution and a cure. Dr. Sand was able to diagnose the root and the cause of her eye problem by spending extremely generous amount of time with her and attention to my mother's complete health and medical history. i called the Westwood clinic inquiring about their weight loss program. I asked about the weight loss medications and was told by the very curt receptionist that they did not offer this program. When asked why it was advertised on their website I was met with silence. I asked if the paramount office offered the medications and she said yes, so I hung up and contacted the paramount office. I swear it sounded like the same young lady with the same dry unenthusiastic attitude. When I asked about the program, before she could answer any questions for me I could hear that another phone rang and she asked if she could place me on a brief hold and kept me on hold for more than 10 minutes before I hung up. Dr. Nancy Sand and her staff have treated me so well. She is so kind and takes time to listen to any of your concerns and asks all the right questions.

I suffer from Lupus and a few other things and take medication that could effect my vision and Retina. So I see her every six month for check ups. She is very understanding and helpful and at my last visit even checked my vision and gave me a new prescription which is perfect.

I highly recommend her to anyone. I see a lot of doctors and it’s rare now to get one that actually cares about you and takes her job seriously. I truly appreciate all that you have done for me Dr. Sand.
