TROVE — Local services in Los Angeles

Update* I just emailed Trove 8/22/25 to check the items I left behind. Just want to openly share my experience with trove, is a right as a consumer to complain about price check, Google is an open platform to leave reviews. I did not lie, or exaggerated my story. Everything I've shared has been my experiences at this point.

I'm going to leave "donate" my items to trove. Also, a reminder The California Consumers Legal Remedies Act protects consumers from false advertising, fraud, and other unfair business practices.

Never ever DEALING WITH TROVE EVER AGAIN!!! First and last time. They told me that "someone" mistakenly puts stickers on items,for that reason they didn't sell these at the price as marked on the tag to me. The manager removed the stickers in the morning as if I didn't have photos or proof of the price. Secondly, Anna spoke to me over the phone as if I'm the one that came over and changed the damn stickers. They're far more better establiments that trove. I'm 💯 that they wanted to buy it at this price because all the them were marked 75%off!! On my text message literally shows, what time i was still in the store there was a long line I was happy and excited I found them i text my my boyfriend sending pictures how cheap they were. Since I was looking for coffee & tea canisters for cheap....

I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS...I can not believe that its taken me this long to write this review. The owner, Danielle is so nice and down to earth. I have consigned there for years and never had an issue. The staff is great! Especially Ana, Sophia, and Alexandra, and Joelle. Im bad with names and I know I missed quite a few... Im so sorry. Anyway, The reason I love this store is because it literally has something great for every type of budget. Anyone can find something they like without breaking the bank. Even designer pieces can be affordable or at least fairly priced. You can find a cute Zara or Anthro top or an amazing Chanel suit all in one place. No wonder its always busy! I love supporting small businesses like this place. I truly enjoy every visit to this store. They are so welcoming..it literally feels like Cheers.(sadly the 16 yr olds that work there won't know what show Im referencing lol) . Im kidding, they arent 16, but they are young and also very kind...

I’ve found some really great things here. The prices can be high but they’re also a lot of deals, you just have to dig and pay attention to the sale tags. This is my favorite thrift/consignment to shop, however, I would not consign here. I brought in a Louis Vuitton vintage bag in pristine condition the other day, they looked it over and said they would “take it” but couldn’t even give me a price! They said they needed “authenticate” it which involved sending it somewhere. They should be able to visually authenticate it on the spot and send it to whoever needs to verify it on paper later. That’s rediculous. Also they don’t give you cash on the spot or even a credit. Not a good system. I once sold an LV bag to another consignment store that gave me an on the spot credit which I used to get another bag I wanted. They would move more high priced items quicker if they used this system. Someone might get $400 for their bag and put that credit towards an $800 bag they...
