California Fresh — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I live very close by and can say California Fresh is always consistently really good and the service is always very fast. It reminds me a lot of Tender Greens in that they have many different types of proteins that you can choose from and then different types of delivery methods whether it be on a plate, in a bowl, or in a sandwich. They have tables to dine in, but most people choose to go, which is usually our choice as well. They have a large menu to choose from and a medium size parking lot attached so parking is free and easy.

For our most recent meal, we chose the White Fish Plate with two sides, spiced Cajun style, and also the Turkey and Avocado Panini. Between the two the plate was my favorite because the fish was a large sized portion and cooked perfectly. The Panini was good, but not the traditional Italian type of Panini. I wish it would have baguette bread instead of the bread they serve.

Overall really quick and convenient option in Westwood and I definitely would recommend and plan to be back many times...

Healthy Rejuvenating Delicious Food for Great Price. A fantastic new favorite dish for me is the Kale Chicken Vegetable rice bowl(See pic enclosed) I eat at California Fresh, 5 days a week, it's quick, Fast, convenient location and the food is healthy, non greasy, and very affordable, at a great value price. Recently, I have been having the New Kale Salmon Rice Bowl, which is delicious and a sure home run. My other 2 signature dishes I order are the White Dover Sole with Steamed Vegetables and Black Beans, and the Anti Oxidant Salad with grilled Chicken or Salmon on top. Elan the owner is a very nice, accommodating involved owner and Emma, the girl who works the front register, is a hidden Gem, she is very sharp, fast, very engaging and friendly, and customer service oriented. Owner is lucky to have her work there. Overall, without hesitation I endorse and recommend California Fresh as a healthy option at a great price with quality customer service, and...

One of my favorite regular haunts. Good healthy variety of food. Seating inside and outside. They have a parking lot but it gets full. You can street park nearby for free in the neighborhood. Don't bother with a meter on Westwood, just go around the corner.

You order at the counter, seat yourself and they bring you the food along with fresh bread. The staff is good and the prices are fair. I end up here at least twice a week. They have a couple booths but the rest are tables. Not the fanciest place. Don't go looking for ambiance. I like that I can get a solid meal without any hipster BS. 'Mmmm, the lentils are organic and were read bed times stories nightly while being grown.."

The owner is there all the time and they have had most of the same staff for years so I feel like he takes good care of them. I have been going there for years and am always happy to see a line and know that they are doing well.
