MIR Audio Video — Local services in Los Angeles

CALL THEM! I have worked with several other A/V providers in the past, but the MIR folks literally blew these people out of the water. Roy was great to talk with from the beginning, and Ben who oversaw our installation is a rock star, very cool guy and funny but more importantly he KNOWS HIS STUFF. Product recommendations were super smart, they understood exactly what our goals were and quickly steered us towards the smartest solutions to give us the best bang for our buck. Whether you are going all out or getting a small system, these guys are GOOD. We already had RadioRA so went for the Control4 system, which we have had before (and hated), but thanks to Ben's ridiculous programming skills it is like a whole new world I never thought possible with the remotes (controlling whole house lighting, Sonos, Tivo, Roku, DVD player, you name it - all perfectly). Control4 from someone else is NOT the same as Control4 from MIR, Ben is crazy smart and knowledgeable coupled with common sense and top training (unlike so many of the A/V installers who fake it and steer the customer towards inferior or inappropriate products because they lack the knowledge and programming skills needed for the really good ones) and fun to talk with as well. Also, the whole team that came was super professional and meticulous. Is our outdoor TV perfectly 100% level, with super awesome killer sound? of course. Is the DVD player easily accessible and re-located (at their suggestion) to exactly where it should be? Of course! Super smart suggestions that saved us money? Absolutely. We will never go anywhere else, ever again, and I am only sorry I did not find them earlier -- this is a really amazing company and I am super thankful...

It's hard to find a company that can handle fiber optic internet, installation of a mesh wifi network, stereo audio in multiple zones, 4K and 2K TV and streaming video in multiple rooms, and the skills to bring it all together with universal remotes that can control all of it in any zone. The universal controls sit as an App on your iPhone/iPad, or, if you prefer, a handheld remote. It all takes a bit to get used to operating but it all works. And the power of the Control 4 system at the heart of my installationwill allow for expansion of many smart home services like lighting, shades, security, AC/Heating, etc. This part is equally important. They have a physical showroom and office. They are headquartered in a physical space on the Westside. And they've been there for a long time. There are other companies that do this type of integrated work, but try to find them when they don't show up, or get them to call you back. Their "office" doesn't really exist. It's in the head guy's back pocket and if he is actually working a job, just try to reach them or get him to quickly return your call. I recommend Roy, Jesse, and the whole team that worked...

I would like to start by saying thanks to Roy and the team he sent out to my home was awesome. I had old system called russound I called roy to adjust some things he suggested we get rid of the dinosaur and get with the new age homes I was thinking my system not broke why change long story short I broke the bank and upgraded a few items plus added a AV rack looks great now thanks again to roy and the team Alex, Carlos & Danny n another guy i didn't catch his name turned my av closet to new erra my wife is happy with the out come made the closet look much neater. another satisfied customer MIR was great to work with. Will highly recommend. Can't wait for our summer pool party now. The end music n tvs working...
