I want to start out by saying Pitfire Pizza as a whole is our favorite pizza spot, hands down. The Mar Vista and North Hollywood locations get a 5 star from us. But this location is TERRIBLE. We’ve had issues at this location before, but this was the last straw. We ordered our normal order for delivery (we usually pick up from the Mar Vista location but with the rain we delivered), and they messed up almost every item we ordered. We ordered everything with detail (as you can see), and called them directly after placing the order to make sure everything was ok. I have a severe milk allergy, so we noted that, the salads came with cheese (and croutons and dressing), and the vegan pizzas were disgusting. The other locations sub in an olive oil and garlic sauce when veganizing the field mushroom pizza - they apparently don’t here, which meant we got a $22 cracker with overcooked mushrooms and little vegan cheese. And the vegan margarita pizza has slices that looked like they had cheese on them when they cooked, but had been removed - and the rest of the pizza wasn’t loaded with cheese, so it wasn’t like it had rolled to another slice. The pizza was gross too - the flavor seemed off, and they somehow managed to make a thin crust chewy. I’m so disappointed - this was supposed to be a nice meal for my family and me, and it turned into a frustrating experience. I called the manager to tell him what happened, he apologized - which I appreciate, but we’ve had too many issues at this location to feel like they’ll actually do anything to fix it. So basically, Pitfire pizza is amazing, absolutely order from the restaurant, but my recommendation is to avoid this specific location.

Pitfire Pizza is a solid, sound and wise choice for quality Wood Fire Oven Pizza. They have a great staff, the Hostess and the Pizza Makers have been gracious to me and my company on two occasions. This is a place that does it right and understands being the full package with good customer service skills, high quality product, enjoyable dining atmosphere and general positive vibe. I am a Pizza Elitist (see how brutal some of my other reviews are) and I respect Pitfire Pizza. They simply do it right and there is nothing to criticize which is rare for me. Other Pizzas in the area of being good at Jon & Vinny’s and Pizzana for example. Hardly anyone in LA is in that bracket. Pitfire deserves lots of success and positivity. If you love Pizza, respect Pitfire today. Pizza Devotees must make pilgrimage. If you’re in LA/ nearby. Don’t go on a long drive for this though.

From the second we walked in, this place screamed out FUN and FAMILY!!! The staff knows how to bring joy to the counter and mouth watering pizza to the table!!! And they do it with a FLARE! Right away, Andrew and Ciara were so knowledgeable about each of the fan favourites and quick to give their recommendations. Edgar, my pizza flipping friend invited me back, to show me where the magic happens. I was impressed to say the least. The restaurant itself was semi busy, with lots of families and it didn’t take long to feel at home. We enjoyed the thin crust pizza and followed up with the Nutella/strawberry pizza. 🤤🤤🤤 I typically like thicker crust, yet these guys have figured out a way to sway me to the thin side!!! I can’t wait to come back and they might just see me tomorrow before I leave town.

I ordered some food through DoorDash for my mother and myself, so keep in mind that the issues stated below could partially be attributed to the delivery driver. The pizza was good as usual but the “Lavender Strawberries” I ordered were packaged terribly.

The dessert was put in one of the waxed-paper takeout boxes, where it was free to roll around as it pleased during transportation. When we received the order the package was leaking from the seams and the contents were overturned. Moreover, the strawberries had some unappealing black spots on their tips that we trimmed off before eating. Luckily, in contrast to the bad things, the dessert tasted very good!

I also ordered a “Seasonal Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade” that never arrived with the order.

This was the first time ordering from this Pitfire instead of the one in Mar Vista and it was a disappointing experience for my mom and myself, especially since it’s Mother’s Day and the treat I got for her arrived in such a...

I went to Pitfire yestersay with my mother and her friend who both are first responders who work at UCLA Ronald Reagan. We decided to go there because my mom and her friend had worked their butts off and saw the sign for free meals to first responders. They were denied the free meal because the new policy was for police and fire only (first of all what the hell are they doing to contribute with covid issues...really think about it whoever is reading this). Anyway, we already ordered so we decided to just pay and eat there. (outside of course bc of covid - we all acted safely) Pizza was cold and mushy and was definitely just rushed. I wish i could givw lower review but the server was very kinf and took our pictures so I qill leave it with a one star. Whichever part of management reads this, please explain to me why my mother - the first responder - is not worthy of the free...
